Decor is a bit dated though this is supposedly to be a “historic area. The outside’s historic facade can be preserved while the interior can be more modern and upgraded for guests’ comfort. The stained wc needs to be replaced.

This was quite easy to get to. You can park by the side of the road for awhile, while you go into the reception for check in. They register your car for parking within their premises. We had an “apartment” up a flight of stairs. The parking was across the main building through a narrow passageway. The kitchenette, bathroom and seating area was downstairs with the bed up a flight of stairs. It was comfortable and relatively clean. The wc was somewhat stained though. It needs to be changed. Wifi was ok. The harbour is very near. A shopping area with restaurants is also within walking distance.

Ashtrays full of butts in outdoor area. Smokers (guests and staff) in central courtyard overlooked by most rooms.

Great location near water front, restaurants, etc. Safe, convenient bicycle storage.

The historic vibe could advantageously be increased. Lack of air conditioning.

Nice and historic hotel conveniently located close to the harbor and city center of Svendborg. Walking distance to the train station and the beach-like, Kammerateriet. The hotel was adequately equipped and the room was charming with its uneven old floors.

Nothing at all to say bad against the hotel. Couldn't check in early, but they told this before I got there and they were happy to watch my luggage whilst I went and explored the town.

Great little hotel. Beautiful old fashioned lobby and bar upon entry and the rooms were huge and well appointed. Even had a small separate kitchen room. Highly recommended.

Hotel room door needs a secondary latch to lock from inside. This would avoid unexpected interruptions and help us feel more secure.

The rooms were located along the long balcony one after the other and we didn't like that much. The rooms were poorly lit and to us that was another negative point.

We drove from Frankfurt directly to this place and the best part to start with is the parking facility just next to the hotel. The next day we had to take the ferry to Aeroskobing and it was super duper easy as the ferries started from this point. The location was great and the breakfast was very nice indeed.

Super location directly on the harbour. My room was in an annex to the backyard, very cozy and quiet. Very good breakfast including complimentary snaps. A little old-fashioned in style, but wonderful if you like that.

No elevator available. But the property has only one upper floor accessible by stairs. If you have heavy luggage, please prepare to lift it through the stairs.

Kettle is available in the room. Breakfast is good. Location is not too far from train station and just opposite of Ferry to Æroskobing.

I don’t like a curtain in the shower, but that is personal.

Location was perfect, when you exit the ferry just across the street. Breakfast was good, more than enough choice.
