Although it looked renovated and refurbished at some point, for some strange reason it had some things like stained carpets and some surfaces that looked like they haven’t been painted in a very long time. Our room smelled like it’s been smoked in for quite some time (despite being on the nonsmoking floor). It was quiet time of the year, but being on the first floor we could hear drunk people on the street outside.

Easily located, next to the central station and close to many tourist attractions. Beautiful historic hotel with nice design. Shower was wonderful, too. Breakfast was truly excellent.

Facility maintenance may require closer attention. A historical prominence of the hotel could definitely be leveraged and promoted. A lot of potential...

Besides the amazing Library Bar and authentic elements of the hotel interior, the hotel must have been a go-to place for artists from 70-80's.

The breakfast service only offered filtered coffee - no capuccino. Missed international news channels on the TV.

excellent location. Even if the train station was next door, I wasn't bothered by the noise. Breakfast was excellent with a very large choice of food and beverages. Staff very attentive and helpful.

It was a bit dated & scuffed in the room, and the breakfast room too. (But we did note the signs saying it was being upgraded)

Staff were really pleasant, breakfast had a variety of different foods, loved the very central location, the heated floor in the bathroom, and the balcony!

My only minor complaint was that the TV did not work (no signal). Of course, if this was super important to me, I would have mentioned it to a member of staff, and I'm sure they would have fixed it.

Location. Just next to the Copenhagen central. Friendly staffs. The room and bed are spacious! Pillow a lil bit too soft to my liking. Overall the location is perfect. Don't have to carry the luggage too far and no transportation needed to get to this hotel from the central. From the hotel can just walk to lots of popular attraction eg: Stroget area, Tivoli, Nyhavn, round tower etc. Convenience store just walking distance.

The only thing that was not so good was the sound from the outside because our room was from the side of the train rails.

Breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety, the bed was very comfortable and they cleaned our room every day (also changing towels)

No room service anymore so unable to stay in room and feed kid, who isn’t allowed in the bar anymore, even early. So we will unlikely stay again which is a shame as have done 4x so far.

Just a minor point - overall the breakfast offer was really good and could possibly have been improved with a little more attentiveness from the staff (only a minor point though!)

Excellent Room, warm & comfortable with good facilities. Excellent location for travel from the airport and for subsequent exploration of Copenhagen either on foot or by train/metro etc.

The breakfast was HORRIBLE! I payed 180 DKK for scrambled eggs with shells in it, coffee so thin you’d think it was tea. Everything felt like it had been out all night and I came in at 7am - right when they opened, but the warm food was cold (bacon, eggs, etc). I ended up going out for a croissant and a coffee near by, so my breakfast ended up being over 250DKK which was a huge let down.

Excellent service and a really great receptionist. I didn’t know how to turn on the lights in my room (the room card was supposed to be kept in a machine by the door - but I hadn’t seen that before), but a sweet cleaning lady helped me out, because she walked right by my room, when I was on my way down to the reception.

Loved the old style of the building and décor the old library. The hotel was next door to the main station and bus exchange so very useful for getting around the town. could not fault the hotel it was perfect for us.
