Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkSome shelves in the shower could be nice, the faucet had a small leak.
The breakfast was good, a bit of everything but after 2 days it could get boring. The location next to the train station is great. Having coffee available all the time is a plus. The room had what we needed, not too small. They have many options for entertainment/workout.

AustriaNothing really...
The location is excellent. The staff was very helpful and I loved the coffee bar and board games area in the lobby. We would definitely stay again. My husband and son enjoyed the pool a lot, it was much nicer than expected. Breakfast was lovely, too.

United KingdomBathroom was rather ugly and dated. The toilet needed a good bleach.
Loved the location just a short walk from the station and Tivoli. The staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the facilities, we made use of pool free, bowling- free just small charge for shoes and paddle (£28). Free coffee in reception is a clever touch. The room was warm and comfy. Breakfast was good, rather quirky and in a lovely restaurant across the courtyard.

AustraliaThe signage to the door which was locked caused us extra time, distance and effort to get to the other door. With a hip injury this was not good pulling heavy cases. The male attendant was less than appreciative of our situation
Close location to the train station

United KingdomWe were overall happy with the hotel, but the cleaning service seemed rushed and was not of high quality. Our trash wasn’t emptied one day, our empty tissues were not replaced another (even though I left the box outside of the container to flag that we needed a new one), used glasses were not taken. Also, the room was very hot and we could not adjust the thermostat so thank goodness we could open the window at night in order to cool down.
The location was great - very near the train station and walkable to restaurants and attractions (like Tivoli Gardens). The pool facility was large and fantastic for families. The rooms had ample space.

SwitzerlandThe rooms were very, very small. Also, the linens smelled aggressively of vinegar (I know laundry services use it to soften linens). It was overwhelming though, especially when trying to sleep.
Great location and options to use the fitness center, pool, etc. Breakfast was high quality and varied.

BrazilThe beds were not that comfortable. The shower pressure was very low. Some small improvements would be nice, such as having a support for shampoo and soap in the shower.
The atmosphere of the hotel was quite nice. Room was spacious, well decorated. Nice breakfast and lounge area. Friendly staff. Very close to Glyptotek and Tivoli.

NorwaySmall detail. Personnel at the reception didn't know the answers to our questions. He said that he was a part-timer. Limited choices for breakfast.
We stayed at the suite. Was really satisfied with how big the room is. The facilities inside the room. My children enjoyed the pool area. It was safe even for my child with special needs. Also enjoyed the free access to the bowling area.

SlovakiaOur room was spacious but it lacked some more furniture and amenities. There was a small rack with some coat hangers but no shelves or wardrobe to unpack your clothes. It was clean and fairly comfy but so bare and minimalistic that it felt sort of cold and clinical. You wouldn't take a photo of this room to send to your friends or family, that's for sure. Our room had a view towards train tracks and you could hear the trains although it wasn't too loud or bothersome for us. Maybe others would have an issue with it.
The location is perfect because it's very close to the train station where you arrive from the airport and it's also within walking distance to the city center and tourist sights. It's also right next to Meatpacking District, a hip area with restaurants and bars (but it's not noisy). The hotel is part of a sports center and there are many facilities (for an extra fee) such as tennis, bowling and a swimming pool, which we didn't use but looked good. The breakfast is served in a large hall with a beautiful exposed roof ceiling like a barn. The food was good although there was no variety from one day to the next. The coffee was especially good for a hotel breakfast. The reception staff are very nice and there is a comfortable lobby lounge area with free coffee and tea, options to buy soft drinks, beer and wine, and some free board games. You can stay here and chill out after checkout before it's your time to go. The room was okay, nothing special but it served its purpose since we spent most of the time walking around the city anyway.
