Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomUnfortunately there was scaffolding right outside our window which meant we had to keep the curtains closed all the time. The workmen weren't noisy but they were there when we were getting up in the morning which was slightly off-putting. Obviously if work needs to be done there has to be scaffolding but it was rather disappointing that it was outside our window. It would have affected other guests too but our room was on the top floor and that's where the men were working.
Loved the location, happy hours, breakfast, easy check in and all the staff were really helpful.

United KingdomThe room itself was fine and bathroom was lovely but particularly the build in bed was grimy which isn’t very pleasant to experience.
The location was really great and the lobby area was a wonderful welcoming space. That being said the winehour was such a lovely perk and brought such a good vibe to the hotel.

United KingdomThe room overlooked a very noisy junction, which isn't the fault of the hotel but it did mean having to keep the windows closed.
The breakfasts were amazing and the breakfast staff were lovely and friendly. The location is great except for the busy junction, a short walk right into the centre of the city.

United KingdomLoved the room and bathroom, very stylish but also comfortable. The free wine hour from 5-6pm was a real bonus and created a great atmosphere in the bar, as did the free nightcap hour at 10pm. Location was also perfect, close to main attractions and also the main station.

AustraliaThe shower glass is too small therefore allowing lots of water to spill out to the rest of the bathroom. The room was slightly dusty and during room clean was only replenished with one bath towel even though there was 2 of us. During happy hour noticed that the rest room in the common area was filthy and hadnt been cleaned and the one toilet wouldnt flush.
Breakfast was superb, great variety of organic selections. Minimalism of the room design was also super nice. Really friendly breakstaff staff, super helpful and accommadating.

SlovakiaI really liked the coffee they have in the rooms in those little packets, but my sister tried the coffee they offer at breakfast and she didn’t really like that one. But these are just preferences so all’s good 😊
The food was amazing! If y’all are gonna stay here, pay that small amount of extra money for the breakfast, you won’t regret it 😊 The staff was also very kind. And even tho we never made it back for wine hour, we caught the nightcap hour our first night, the gentleman who was serving us was really nice and helpful with choosing the beverages.

United Kingdom• No non-alcoholic alternative for wine hour: The ‘wine hour’ and ‘nightcap’ daily complimentary drinks is a great idea, but not everybody drinks alcohol. An alternative to alcohol, such as a soft drink or hot drink, would have been nice. When requesting an alternative to alcohol at the reception desk, the staff told me it wasn’t possible. • The housekeeping staff kept removing all (or most) of our towels from our room and not replacing them, so we had to ask for them to be replaced. Not the end of the world, but inconvenient after a long day of exploring the city. • Unusual odour in lift: The lift to entrance A looks like a completely different world to the rest of the hotel—it doesn’t match the aesthetic of the hotel lobby, and has an unpleasant smell. • No lock on bathroom doors: The bathrooms in both rooms we booked had sliding doors that didn’t have a lock on them, which we found a bit strange.
• Friendly and welcoming staff: They allowed us to store our luggage with them before check-in and after check-out as we had an early flight in and a late flight out. • Good breakfast spread: I especially liked how most breakfast items (such as eggs) were pre-portioned and placed into glass pots, as this is definitely more hygienic. • Modern and artistic hotel lobby and comfortable rooms: The hotel has a very clean, modern look with art displayed on the walls—the vibe is great. The rooms were spacious enough for 2 people, and the beds were comfortable. The heated floor in the bathroom was a plus. • Good fitness room: Several good-quality dumbbells, a rowing machine, treadmill, cross trainer, and a bike, as well as cables which I was surprised to see! The room is small but big enough for 2 people to do a full body workout at the same time.
