Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Lovely Hotel by the water, great breakfast and Bar place in evening. There were some refurbishment being done on the higher floors but was not much disturbing. The AC in our room was not working in 1st night which was promptly attended to next day. Good staff and service,

SwitzerlandThe room is very comfortable and clean, but could do with some updating, especially the bathroom. For a hotel that claims to be 5-star and mentions that it has satellite channels, the diversity of channels was very limited. In particular, no French channels, not even TV5 monde. Surprising and a little disappointing.
The hotel's location by the sea and close to Copenhagen's historic center is exceptional. The breakfast is varied and very good.

Required 3 staff to verify payment was made despite showing the payment confirmation Booked two rooms, put a block on a credit card for both. When my children arrived for the second room, front desk staff were insistent that a second card block was required. Requested assistance to get a taxi, was told go outside and get one. Front desk staff were not welcoming or helpful and did think the experience
