눇Generous sized room with great, appropriate decor for an architectural icon. Really comfortable. Good views from top floor breakfast.

눉The food is not great, and overpriced. We skipped the breakfast and went to the Central Train Station every morning.. there are also great breakfast options that the hotel recommended to us. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and I wouldn't recommend it. It was too salty and really overpriced for mediocre food. There's a lot of excellent food in Copenhagen. Check out the Meatpacking District and also the Food Truck Hall by the Exploritoranium! The location of the hotel is very central. However, it is not in the prettiest part of town. We also stayed at the Admiral Hotel for a few days and the neighborhood at the Admiral was absolutely scenic and peaceful along the waterfront. If you can, stay 3 days here and 3 days at the Admiral, to get a feel for two distinctive parts of the city. Lastly, we took Uber everywhere and the rates were really reasonable.
눇The design throughout the hotel is by Arne Jacobsen and very distinctive, from the retro hotel lobby to the slick guestroom corridors. It feels unique and exudes a particular era of time when traveling was more glamorous. It's not just another boring designer hotel. The guestroom was so thoughtfully designed, from the various lighting options to the storage space for guest luggage. We were given a high floor and the view over Tivoli Garden and the Central Train Station was excellent. You could see out to the Meatpacking District and Vestbro, both great places to visit and a 15 minute walk. Central Train station is under 5 minutes walk. The concierge and front desk staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The gym access was included and it is a REAL full blown gym... part of a national chain of fitness centers across Denmark. There was a steam/sauna as well as a full range of cardio and weight lifting equipment.
