Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

Puerto RicoCheck-in needs to be faster. It took way too long. Also, it is very difficult to book restaurants; they were always booked. The staff was great, however when needed fixing or missing things, they needed to be reminded or some were a bit rough.
The property was beautiful and very clean. It is appropriate for family, friends, children and couples.

United States of AmericaExcellent food, drink and service. small tips go a long way. I'm glad I did not let the few negative reviews sway me. I'm used to traveling in luxury hotels. While this isn't a luxury resort by any stretch it is rather great for an all inclusive. I am planning on returning. I also highly recommend the platinum upgrade. Totally worth it.

United States of AmericaCons: The app and the map need to be updated. Because of the language barrier, we relied on the map and the app to get around and learn about the resort. However, the map was not updated nor very informative. We discovered it didn’t show a lot of things that the resort actually had. The map did not include the store by the pool (we were looking for a place to buy sunglasses and toiletries and finally came across this store on day #4, but really needed it on day #1) or Cappuccino’s coffee shop (I went to go meet my kids there but had a difficult time finding it) or the restrooms. It would have been extremely helpful to show where the restrooms are because the resort is so big you couldn’t always be running back to your room to use the bathroom. Those are just a few of the things that were missing from the map that would have been very helpful to know of from the beginning. The trolley-the trolley is a great service as the resort is very large and I had an ankle injury so it was necessary for me. However, there is no signage or indication as to where the stops are. The map showed a stop just outside of our room (building #21) but it never actually stopped there! And there were times I was waiting for more than 20 minutes for the trolley!! In theory, the trolley is a wonderful idea and service but was actually inefficient and poorly run. Trouble with our air conditioning the first night—AC was not working when we arrived and we had to call 4 times. Kept being told to close the patio doors but they were closed! Finally got maintenance to come and fix it after midnight. We were exhausted from our day of travel and the room was unbearably hot! Very frustrating to have to call so many times!! I was very disappointed with the service. No sheets for the pullout couch when we arrived. They knew there were three people staying in the room but left no sheets for the pullout! After 4 calls (we were calling about the AC too) we got the sheets but they were damp!!
Pros: Beautiful grounds and setting Gorgeous beach Beautiful pool with plenty of chairs Well maintained and clean! Loved the wildlife and peacocks roaming the grounds. The trolley Restaurants were beautifully decorated and designed. Food was very good! I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Favorite restaurants Samsara (Indian), Wasabi (sushi), and the hibachi. I got the curry lamb at Samsara and it was excellent! And you must try the baklava there. It was great! Wasabi had some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The hibachi place was a lot of fun. The buffets were good. Lots of choices. I tried a lot of Dominican dishes and really enjoyed them. We loved Cappuccino’s, the coffee shop with pastries and crepes, but it didn’t open until 10am. Would be nice if it opened earlier.

United States of AmericaI was harassed by security while I was just walking back to into the property. After checking in at the security gate just 50 yards away, another security guard chased me down while shouting at me in Hatian Creole, like I was breaking into the place. I had my room bracelet on and gave them no reason to be suspicious. I didn't feel welcome and it was very embarrassing. Room were spacious, but broken faucet, and tub leaking onto the floor were notable. Also, could never get hot water at any point during my 3 night stay.
It was ok, just ok. The receptionists were very friendly and accommodating.

JamaicaI am from a different culture the food wasn't what I am use to but I did find options that kept me alive for my time duration there.
I don't normally give reviews, but I really had to this time based on the experience. There is a specific front desk representative by the name of JHONNY who went above and beyond to help us out in the situation with our banking card. I am also in the customer service field, and I know what exceptional customer service is. There was also a colleague who offered to help as well he was great very jovial and warm. The property is clean I saw them wash the floor with mop yes the outside floor. Buffet Staff oh wow amazing. 10 out 10.

DenmarkThe buffet had a wide variety especially the one at the main building. In case you are not platinum or family group it is almost impossible to make a reservation at the restaurants that are part of the hotel. One of the days we had dinner at the steak house instead of the buffet and the same night and for two days I had extremely strong pain in my stomach. We called the doctor of the clinic that is located inside the hotel for support but it turned out that the doctor needs 200-300$ just to check on you.
Beds are very comfortable. They take care a lot of the common areas. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful.

Czech RepublicThe staff is not friendly. We’ve met a few very friendly members but overall, the staff is not happy to be there. You get some funny looks sometimes when ordering, they either forget your stuff or don’t even ask what you want. The a la carte restaurant Pescador was awful. Besides having to make a reservation 1 day before with a dress code (not everyone adhered to that), the food was bad, nothing wow, it took ages to get a drink or be served by someone. We left half way through our meal and went to the normal buffet.
Amazing location and resort. The beach is great with blue water and clean. You have everything you need within the resort, no need to go anywhere. The food is great and a big choice. The a la carte restaurants are a nice variation from the normal food buffet if you get bored. I liked the free roaming birds all over the property, it gave it an exotic feeling. Free beer and soft drinks also available in the room mini fridge.

SwitzerlandWe were travelling with 6months old baby. We chose the hotel because it has a family friendly profile. Unfortunately the hotel doesn't care about the health of the baby and non smoking people.. smoking is allowed basically everywhere in public spaces eg next to the swimming pool, food area, on the beach... there are no clearly separated smoking/non smoking areas where families and children can breathe the fresh air... on the cigarettes package it clearly says: "It can cause cancer" so it is scientifically proven that it is harmful.. why then not protect little children from it and not divide sunbeds into smoking and non smoking people? I was breastfeeding on the beach, I wanted my family to breathe the fresh air but instead my 6months old baby was tasting the cigar smoke while eating 😞😞😞
Everything except the cigarettes smoke everywhere especially on the beach Very nice spacious and lovely decorated room Excellent very friendly and helpful staff Beautifully maintained garden All the facilities and entertainment offered by the hotel

United States of AmericaThe beach and the food is what is important to me on a beach trip. The beach was gorgeous but unfortunately, the food was not very good at all and is the reason for my 7. It was like high school cafeteria food. I'm not a fussy eater but there were times I couldn't eat the food. The burgers at the beach were almost raw. They don't cook them enough. The best food was at breakfast and the paella on the beach. The Hibachi restaurant was not very good - how do you mess that up? We didn't eat at all the restaurants so maybe there were some that were better. We just didn't find them.
The hotel was nice. Modern and a friendly staff. It is very large and has a tram system but we never waited more than 5 minutes. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel sits right on the beach. The beach was clean with no seaweed and absolutely beautiful! Exactly what I wanted. You do need to claim your chair in the morning or you may not get one. The bar service on the beach was the best!

United Kingdom-Wi-Fi was so rubbish and you need it to book restaurants through the hotels app Restaurants book up really fast! -Laundry service isnt great , left laundry in on a Friday didn’t get it back to the following Wednesday -Avoid Seapro booked a swim with dolphins trip they kept cancelling it and we never got to go , and I still have got no refund to this day 230 dollars!just excuses -be prepared for a few rude staff during the trip - avoid golf buggies with staff offering a tour and short presentation if you don’t want to be stuck in an office for 2 hours with guys trying to sell you a lifetime holiday deal - watch out for the steps on each apartment block there’s one different 😂
The resort is clean and tidy and the room was lovely, plenty of selection of food and drinks at the buffets and restaurants, pool was nice also right beside the Beach which was great . Open mic nights were fun at the 24/7 bar and the amount of friendly Canadians you probably will meet make the stay more fun .You will have a lovely time if you know what to avoid

Romania- The wi-fi is just a bad joke. After 2 days, I decided to pay for the premium wifi. That was an even wore joke. I actually paid for nothing. - On the beach and in the resort are a lot of "representatives of torusim agencies" who tried to trick me into buying tours at inflated prices. - If you don't pay tips before you ask for an "all inclusive service", most probably you will not get that service. The most relevant example is water at the table. There is no self service for water and other drinks and the waiters will forget that you asked for something to drink if you don't give them one dollae in advance. I felt thirsty all the vacantion. The same tip culture you will find at the bar, or if you want to get some food freshly prepared on the stove (egg crumbles. omlette, grilled meat etc.) - The animation team for kids don't organize any activity. - The singers are hiding their lack of talent by playing music extremely loud. - The cost of everything you want to buy is overvalued (30 $ for a small Nivea sunscreen, 25$ for a plastic bucket with few accessories for kids). Both products are no more than 5$ each in USA or in Europe. - For 2 hours late checkout I had to pay additional money. - In 5 days, they refilled the minibar in the room only twice. - We never had enough shampoo, soap and towels in the bathroom. - One day, wen we came back from the beach, we found a big poop in the toilet. I don't know if it was from their staff or the sewage overflowed. As a general conclusion I can say that I didn't feel relaxed. I had to watch my wallet all the time and to be aware to not be tricked to pay 10 times more than normal for a service. Also, I didn't apprectiated the fact that everything was conditioned by tips in advance. I usually pay tips after I get the service, if I am happy with the service, not in advance.
- Food in the resort is diversified and more than 80% was tasty. - The general view is great (palms, beach, lawn, peacocks, ducks and other animals free on the alleys) - Pescador a la carte restaurant had really tasty food.

United States of AmericaI really did not like being harassed multiple times a day mainly by non hotel staff, e.g., travel company staff, some staff in pink shirts, getting some sex related offerings… I came to relax and be by myself, not being harassed 24/7 by random dudes. Also really hated it that everyone asked me to smile because yore on vacation. Nobody should tell me what to do when I’m on my vacation and bring harassed all day. Hotel was not 5 star, I would say 3,5-4 star. Food was very mediocre. No organic food, drinks are pure chemicals. Pizza, pasta, crepes were only eatable options.
The hotel was fine, it looked nice and clean, most hotel stuff was very friendly, especially reception staff. My fave part was the animal area, mangrove area of the hotel.

United States of AmericaVery basic, not luxury at all . The rules they have to make a reservation for dinner in the Restaurant it’s wrong. You have to check in your room at 3 pm and to make a reservation for dinner it’s only for 8 am to 3:00 pm. So by the time you check inn and try to make a reservation for the same day , it’s too late. We was celebrating an special occasion , and we had to eat at the buffet. I was previously call to try to make a reservation over the phone , and I was told I can’t make a reservation for dinner until you check inn your room. Automatically lost one day to have a chance to have dinner in the restaurants they advertise including on the price you paid for the all inclusive offer. The next night they only had one opening available for all the Restaurants.
The food was good , the beach was clean and nice
