SpainBuffet needs to improve its variety, and adapt to all types of guests. Gluten-free, more seafood or even lactose free etc. Hotel restaurant reservation App needs improving too. Also, staff is sometimes unaware of everything around them.
The resort is so beautiful, room is comfortable, you will get a great opportunity to relax and enjoy this gorgeous beach. Many pools to enjoy also.

United States of AmericaI made the reservation in February for a July stay. You can never get ahold of anyone at the resort to change it. Our plane had trouble. We missed a night. No refund. Never able to get restaurant reservations, a blessing so we ate in Bayahibe every night. Best decision.
The folks who worked in the large dining room were exceptional. The view from the resort is beautiful.

United States of AmericaI think the hotel should have taken more responsibility for my sons food poisoning. We only ate at the resort, nowhere else.
When we arrived, it took almost 1.5-2 hours to get us checked in. I also had to pay an extra $80.00 because I made a mistake when I booked the room(s). I made the reservation for 7 and we actually had a party of 8(2 rooms with 2 beds a piece). Also, at the time of check in, although I paid for the extra person/child, they never charged me for the full amount if $2752.21. After finally getting checked in, we tried to go to the beach and we were unable to because the check in took too long and there were no towels available. That night, we ate at the buffet and 2-3 hours later my son started showing signs of food poisoning, vomiting, diarrhea and gas. Also, the toilet in the room stopped working, so my son was basically vomiting in the toilet with his own feces in it. We ultimately had to take him to the nurse/doctor and place an IV catheter and start him on IV fluids and injectable antivomiting. antidiarrheal medications. The hotel refused to take any responsibility and I had to pay an extra $496.96 for my sons medical bill!

HungaryAll inclusive only means you can have food and drink all day long. But not everything is included. You cannot use all the area, you cannot use any sunbeds, you cannot go to any restaurants, UNLESS you are club member. Feel guilty if you are not. In the meantime, we were approached around 15-20 times by sales people to be club members, it was really-really disturbing. It's ridiculous that you have to pay extra fee for the safety locker in your room - yes, that tiny box that is basic even in any low profile apartment. They have some restaurants for non-members also but we could not use any of them, because they were all fully booked when we arrived - and you cannot book before your arrival since booking is on room number. I do not recommend the place for families. We went with children but there weren't many children area (only 1 small) and it was closed many times because animators left to attend on other activities. During the day and also at night there was really loud music - so loud that you cannot stand it in the nearby and you cannot sleep in the distance either. There was a foam party when we arrived with music and they wanted to give us a bungalow next to it. We declined and asked another one which was OK during the day at least, but night music also reached the volume and we couldn't sleep well. We did not have problem with the food in general but all of us had diarrhea by the time we left.
The whole area is clean and very well maintained. The beach side has enough shadow spots with sunbeds, sand is white and the water is clean. No seagrass anywhere. Buffet had enough variety for the 4 days we spent there. Despite some language barrier (not everyone speaks English), most of the staff was kind and helpful.

I would make sure to bring a lot of bug spray for mosquitos. And lastly one of the rooms we rented in the bungalows a/c never seemed to work right no matter how many times we asked for it to be looked at.
The Place was amazing if your looking for a safe place to relax on a beach on vacation. The staff was helpful and attentive explicitly Mr. Fensi! As a bonus most of the staff speaks English which was helpful for my older relatives who don't speak spinish. The excursions were also wonderful(I did 4) but be mindful that the Safari and Santo Domingo ones involve a LOT OF WALKING that some older people had trouble keeping up with. But Mr. Welington did his best to keep everyone safe, together, and Happy. I will certainly be bring a bigger family unit back next year. Ps: If you get a chance do Crazy Wheels!
