It's over a century old so it's not a 5 star hotel and if that's what your looking for I suggest looking else where ,but being a beautiful peice of history and at the price not really anything to complain about..

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Restaurant of hotel closed, but many others close by. Micro brewery at 100 m. distance, as the well stocked super mercado "Santa Maria" (200 m.) . Highly recommended.

Nothing that we did not like. But remember this is not a four star modern hotel. But it has all you need.

Nothing but the entrance is a bit off putting down an alley, it looks run down but it's fine once you get over that.

I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, the location of the hotel was right next to the San Francisco church and close to all the Centro Historico tourist attractions.

Just the noise problem we mentioned above.

Location was amazing, right by San Francisco Plaza. We were in a lower room by the courtyard so could hear the people above and talking in the courtyard. The mother of the owner was brilliant, spoke great English, cooked the breakfast and was very helpful.

The bathroom was a little pungent at times but that disappeared following a good clean.

A quirky hotel that took you back to colonial times with its decor. The room had a small dressing area which left the sleeping area relatively clutter free. The hotel was in a central location but did not suffer from city noise.

Somethings like the bathrooms are very tired and have a little musty/ mildew smell. Not so bad that we couldn’t handle. There are cracks etc in the walls and ceilings in places. The bedding and towels were tired and one towel we had to change as it literally had a big hole in it. Everything was clean though. Breakfast was “ok”. They didn’t accommodate for someone who didn’t eat eggs very well.

Great location in the heart of the old town. It’s super quiet and the hotel doesn’t let other guests stay in the central courtyard after around 9pm/10pm. The hotel is extremely charming. The rooms are pretty basic but do the job for one or two nights stay. They have a restaurant down stairs which was handy when other places were closed in the evening in the area. The staff were super helpful and got some washing done for us overnight. Overall excellent value for money.

Very strong, strange smell in the bathroom Mould on the ceilings which isn’t a surprise considering how cold the room was Poor breakfast - scrambled eggs & bread. Banana if requested. I don’t eat egg so was given a plain piece of bread and was told they didn’t have any jam

This is a great property for the price and location! It looks very much like the pictures and is so charming. It’s an older property so it’s got a lot of charm and is located in a great area to walk to the attractions. They have a couple different sitting areas upstairs and downstairs so if you don’t want to be in your room, you have places to be in the hotel. My room was large and comfortable with a very cute separate sitting area. The bed was great, had lots of blankets as it does get cold at night (6 Celsius when I was there!) Lots of good restaurants nearby and is very quiet at night. The staff were amazing, so kind and helpful. On my first night, I’d forgotten to get water bottles for the night and the overnight staff was going out and offered to pick me up some. Definitely above and beyond!
