The staff at the facility are very accommodating, very friendly and very knowledgeable. A lovely family. Initially I thought the property was out of the way a bit, but became very fond of my walks and observing all the seal lagoons closeby. It was a very quiet area. The laundry area was a real bonus for a long stay, i am unsure my clothes have ever been cleaner. The shower was fantastic and the water on this island is beautiful.

Maybe allow guests to use the restroom and cool off in their room before going over everything. It was hard to focus bc I could only concentrate on how bad I needed to pee and how hot I was.

Had everything I needed. No frills but they do provide shampoo which was much appreciated! Free unlimited water was also wonderful. I loved that they had a huge clothesline and they had several outlets in convenient places inside the room. There is also a mini fridge! Very nice with some conveniences. Dany even mailed me shoes that I left there via Emtembe to another island I was on. Amazing service!

The larger bed had a hump in it and was very hard. Not very comfortable. This was the reason I couldn’t give an excellent rating for comfort

The room was big and had lots of little extras like a kettle, tea, instant coffee and bananas. When we arrived they showed us where we could do some laundry and hang our clothes to dry. So helpful. It included a free ride to the airport as well. The small bed was very comfortable. The room included a table and chairs. And there was a common area where we could sit after checking out.

The hotel is a little off at the edge of town but walkable in 5-10mins. The quietness and spacious comfortable room makes up for it!

We had a room with sea view and stayed for 5 nights. The room was spacious, has a small table and chairs for eating and writing, another small table holding a kettle, cups and daily fruits or biscuits. Filtered water is also provided. There’s also a long bench/cupboard for more storage space. There were hooks for clothing (more than any other hotels we’ve stayed in over 3 islands). The bathroom was big enough with plenty of space to put our toiletries. In the communal area, there’s a large area with soap and water to wash your swimsuit or anything you wish to wash with washing lines to hang them. This is a family run hotel and the hosts were very hospitable. They even paid for our taxi to the airport when we left. We had such an enjoyable comfortable stay.

The doors of the family were always open for us to answer our questions, rent snorkeling gear and they even let us heat my daughter's meals in their kitchen as our room had no microwave! The location was great for us as well - just a short walk to the city, but very calm at night.

The double bed was slumped on one side, which made in uncomfortable to sleep in with the two of us. Luckily we had a separate single bed where one of us ended up sleeping as an alternative.

Very nice staff, even dropped us off at the port for free. Also possible to wash your clothes here yourself.

I have missed a handheld shower for better bodily hygiene. None of the places in Ecuador or Colombia we stayed in had one, to be fair.

I liked how clean and spacious the room was. The room had nice big windows so the room was nice and bright during the day. The location was great in that it was only about a 5-minute walk to the area along the waterfront but it was far enough away that you didn't have a lot of noise at night. The common area was very colorful and clean. The price was very reasonable and I was very pleased with the accommodations.

Our family of 9 had 3 rooms and all (including teens) appreciated the facility, the staff, and the location. It was a neat part of the culture and a great experience vs an international hotel. Taking us to the cruise was a real plus, and a very reasonable good breakfast also was beyond expectations.

Very good location, only a few minute walk to the centre. The family is super friendly and willing to help with everything you need. We had an enourmous room (which could fit 4 people) with only the two of us. They brought fresh fruit every day.

It was odd that there is communal seating when we were not offered breakfast or other meals. I had presumed from the images of lots of people sitting around these tables that this may be offered. The TV in our room did not work.

This property was ideal for a couple of nights. Our room was very comfortable. It was great to be provided with drinking water and fruit. Location is ideal being a few minutes walk from restaurants and a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. For anyone visiting I would highly recommend a restaurant in town called The Pier which is an amazing spot to have dinner and watch the sunset.
