Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandThe key-cards were sometimes unwilling to do their job, but the Lady of the house was very prompt with fixing any problems, so there was no reason to panic !
Loved the location and the charm of an old fine house. We were treated with lovely breafasts, extra heaters, flexible check-out and free parking place. Mr and Mrs Draakon were so kind and welcoming I wish we could have stayed longer! This was a very special trip to my mother, aunt and myself, and staying in this hotel made it even more special.

United States of AmericaThe decor and room furnishings were very dated and the room had a musty smell. The beds were not that comfortable but for 1 night it was fine. The outside of the building is beautiful, with some time and money the rooms could be beautiful!
The location was perfect, right in the old town square. Lots of restaurants and shops. The room was very large and the free breakfast was very good

EstoniaThe hotel seems very much understaffed, reception desk permanently neglected with written instructions to make a phone call for personnell to show up.
Super location in the very center of town. The hotel is an absolute time capsule to me, taking visitors back to the end of 90-s and as such it is even lovely. The building dates of course back to centuries before. Breakfast was tasty, although with not very many optios to choose

EstoniaThe Hotel is in an absolute central location in Tartu, although in the middle of the townhall-square-buzz the rooms are still quiet.♥️ I would specially compliment the cleanliness of the rooms and tasty breakfast!🍳☕️ As the location is in old town then guests should be prepared that hotel court has limited parking but there is plenty nearby. In such location even few places are a luxury.🚗 We chose the hotel as it offers also a crib for infants. Our room had a double bed and had a good size to fit a crib, armchairs, a table, sofa table etc.

GermanyThe reception is really weird. There's nobody sitting at the desk, instead you need to call someone. They seemed rather annoyed on the phone and just hung up after saying "wait a moment", so I was sitting there for 15 minutes and wondering if anyone would come. My room was next to some courtyard with air ducts, so I had to listen to ventilation sounds most of the night - no problem if you're tired enough or can sleep with a closed window. Wi-Fi is extremely slow.
Beautiful building in the most central location possible. Typical breakfast, but very tasty. I arrived 3 hours too early (announced) but was allowed to check-in anyway.

FinlandI dont have any negative,
The hosts was very nice, and the feeling of the hosting is 5 stars, its like going beck in time that costumes service was the main target, we was one night in there wish we could stay more. If there will be second time defiantly will return. The location is in the center of the city, where is the night life and sites, few minutes of walking and you find your self part of the story in the city. The rooms very big and comfortable clean and neat. Breakfast was good, need to ask before if you vegan or have any food requests, they will take care of you. Overall great experience.
