Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The pool bar went "on a break" from 17:30 to 18:00, which is unacceptable. I understand staff needs their breaks but closing the business (during opening hours) is not ok. There was two personell but apparenlty both were on break for the same time.
The location is really good. Walking distance from the old town restaurants. The kids also love the pools and slides. Waterpark is the reason for us to come here again.

A bit cold near the pool.
Very close to historical centre, friendly personel, good breakfast, not expensive dinner. Big swimming pool, with different attractions for any age.

We were first given room 303, where air conditioning didnt work and windows were closed, the air inside the room was bad and it was impossible to stay inside. We had an arguement with the receptionist, after which we were moved to another room with the possibility to open windows. We are happy that the solution was found, but the receptionist could be more polite.

Wasn't impressed with lack of clean towels at the entry to the waterpark .I''ve never been in the situations when someone told me to bring to towels from room's bathroom to the swimming pool or offering me towels for 8e at the swimming pool reception. unfortunately my child back home with the skin infection... which means that the cleanliness ( maybe towels or bathrobs or other thing -regarding to the doctor opinion) wasn't at the high level.
Location was very good. Waterpark made the job. We had so much fun there.

Nothing to complain
Excellent location, walking distance to the Old Town, 10 minutes walk to the sea side, close to some grocery stores (some open 24/7 ), excellent 50m long swimming pool, great swimming-pool area and two saunas next to it (they are not very hot though, ~50 degrees), we also liked a lot the Gym in the hotel. Breakfast available from 7:30 till 11 which we also liked a lot ;).

Bad timing to try to do a calm morning swim with all the students from the sports team and whistles. I had breakfast in the last hour and the food was mostly cold, some stations not refilled and the staff was taking away my full dishes while I was up for more cofee...
Great location, nice pool (even though you have to share it with the swimming school), good free sauna. Room was nice, a large bathroom and very comfortable pillow.

the room at the second floor was a bit noisy due to the traffic of the near by street

There is no cleaning for 4 days. They said you need yo put the sticker, there was no sticker, and there should be cleaning no matter is it visible or not. Very poor quality of sound isolation as well, noise from th street. Breakfast was average and too crowded every day, not much sitting possibilities. Too long check-in process, you now all the details from booking.com and asking to fill in details again. No flower delivery available, In had to get flower vase from restaurants, as 4 star hotel you should deliver directly to the room!

Staff at the reception was pretty mediocre for a four star hotel, I didn't feel welcomed at all. Avoid communication through booking.com whoever responds to these messages is just not helpful at all.

Didn't like that Sauna Oasis wasn't included in the spa and hotel price. Because of that the sauna experience was poor. And we were with under 18 yo kids, so we couldn't use oasis at all, if we wanted.
We liked waterpark with the family and restaurant in the ground floor and their menu. Location is also good.

We had trouble with the heating in our room at the beginning of our stay. We have complained about this at the reception, and although nobody came to fix the A/C (someone came earlier just to check) it seemed to have been solved later.
The room was spacious and well furnished. The location of the hotel was close to the city centre, making it very easy to connect with most tourist attractions. Breakfast was perfect, very varied, with lots of options to accommodate each person's needs. The staff was nice, respectful, and efficient, responding to our requests promptly.

Slightly surprised that Sauna Oasis was not included in the price we paid when booking (water park was included, sauna oasis not). Also our shower drain was stuck.

You do need to avoid pick hours during breakfast time otherwise it gets really cramped. The beds would have been much more comfortable if the matrasses were 'fixed' with the appropriate bedlinen. The matrass kept on moving and falling on one side of the bed.
The breakfast offered a lot of choices which varied every day. We used the restaurant once for dinner. Although the service was very slow, the food was excellent. The location is perfect for visiting the town. Everything is at walking distance, including very affordable supermarkets. The fact that the waterpark is actually inside the hotel is also very convenient.

Spa waterslides were a bit dangerous, for example,we got hurt on them on the first day of our stay.
Great location in the city, Everything was easy to Find. Breakfast was actually amazing. The staff was professional and helpful.

The room wasn’t so clean, I believe they have to put more attention on cleaning. The temperature inside the room was pretty strange since we had a AC system that didn’t work so good.
The swimming pool is stunning and the perfect attraction especially for babies. Location is great and the huge variety of food for breakfast is priceless!
