Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Pillows too high and hard, street noisy even with the windows closed.
The room was oldish and smallish but generally OK, nothing fancy. Breakfast was OK, not quite a 4-style standard but the coffee was good. the view and location were great.

It looks great on a photos, but in reality it is an average hotel. Double bed means two beds (or mattresses) together, not one =) There are not enough space for breakfast - a lot of people wanted to eat, but free table was a question mark.
Good location close to old town, good bar near the hotel. Room was quite and cozy.

didn’t really like cocktails in the restaurant and bed was too soft from our point of view.
everything was very good- location, staff, room with huge bath next to the window. there is excellent juicy chicken and good burger in the restaurant.

Room at the front of the hotel was a bit noisy with the window open but otherwise excellent
Room was comfortable, loved the bath. Heated floor in the bathroom was a real treat. Breakfast selection was good.

Crowded breakfast. The view from the room to the inner yard wasn't great.
Really good value for money. We travelled for the Estonian Independence day on 24.2. and the hotel is right next to the flag hoisting at Toompea. Small clean room with a fridge and a good deep bathtub. Breakfast was ok, a bit too crowded when we went so it was hard to find a comfortable place to sit, but there was a nice selection of foods and drinks. Location is great, next to public transport and walking distance to all places we wanted to visit.

Dinner portions could have been a bit bigger. Had to order a portions of fries to add to my chicken and salad.
We loved everything. Breakfast was great good for glutenfree. room was clean spacious and warm. It was in walking distance of old town . Airport bus stop ( no 2) across the road.

The shower could use a door or curtain so that the water does not spill outside the shower area.
The hotel is nothing special, but nicely located, clean, and with a decent breakfast.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms. Maybe price for pets is a little bit high, but for this price you get dog food, blanket and bowls, so overall price is acceptable.

We had a room by the road, and there was naturally some noise from the traffic. So if you're a light sleeper, you may want to ask for a room facing the other way. Also, we could've enjoyed a bit more selection at the breakfast but it was still fine.
The room was clean and felt rather classy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location near the old town was easy to reach by public transportation.

To give my card details as a security guarantee in case we take some drinks from mini bar.
The hotel number was quite large for a family of 4. Tasty breakfast. A minute walk from the old city entrance.

It can get a bit crowded in the breakfast area. If you have time and are flexible, then maybe ask the staff when would be a quieter time (breakfast is served for 4 hours).
Very good hotel! Quiet, clean, nice staff. Breakfast has good choices, including vegetarian options, fish, pancakes, fruits etc. and tasty coffee :) Great location: old town within short walking distance and bus stops very close (to connect with the airport, central bus station, train station, port).

Nothing, it was perfect!
Modern, quiet, very clean. Very comfortable beds, great breakfast with a variety of options. Very good location super close to old town. Bus stop, if you need to go elsewhere, is just in front of the hotel. My best stay in Tallinn so far!!!
