Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The electronic door to the saunas malfunctioned , trapping people for 15 minutes- hopefully this will be fixed .

Breakfast felt a bit lackluster in terms of healthy choices, like greens, fruit and the porridge was a big turnoff.
We liked the reception staff, the saunas in the Spa (and that entrance was free for hotel guests) and the location to the ferry. Bonus points for patience among the staff considering the guests' behavior who clearly came only for SuperAlko. :)

Would have liked housekeeping everyday and not just alternate days. Would have liked better egg choice at breakfast ie only scrambled or hard boiled offered. Also towels should be standard issue at the spa with no need to bring a room towel unless extra towels have been left in the room for the spa. Landscaping needs to be finished outside around the hotel.
Spa was great. Room was lovely.

The toilet clogged up from the beginning, another room was offered, but my family were getting ready for bed. I was surprised that a bedside lamp was pieced together so carefully that it did not appear broken. But when touched, it flopped to the side and exposed high voltage wiring (potentially very dangerous). The floor in the water area was dangerously slippery, it is like walking on ice. One other thing, a redhead who took my order at the restaurant became annoyed with me when I changed my order and said that they have already started cooking it, but I had not even finished ordering or decided how to pay. She was very judgmental, but then changed it for me. This bit of experience indicates something to me about management.
I'm not sure why but they gave us an upgraded room, which was very nice along with the 'special' breakfast that came with it. The water area was great fun with a peaceful atmosphere. Food from the restaurant was nice. Most staff were friendly.

Limited parking lots
Great location. 5 minutes walk to Old Town. 2 minutes walk to the ferry terminal. Good restaurants. Nice spa zone

There was no conditioner or the shampoo in the bathroom, just a half empty tube of soap. Also, between the bed mattress and my body was only a light sheet, I could almost feel the previous guests sweat on the mattress. How cannot you have a mattress cover between the mattress and the bed sheet?? Also the pillow is like a balloon that deflates and covers your face when you put your head in it.

Kids are allowed everywhere in the spa, and since it was a weekend, plus some youth wrestling tournament happening in the city, there were young kids jumping all around the pools and jacuzzis area, which makes it difficult to relax with drinks laying around.

Location is little bit on the side from center and old town. But still can reach it if one is ready for walking

The room decor was dated and not easy on the eye. Purple and mustard swirly carpet, zebra print chair cover and massive ‘arty’ picture of headless naked woman on the wall
Close to the ferry terminal and an easy walk to the old town. Staff were pleasant and easy going. Spa area really good. Food varied and good.

My room looked really old and requires renovation. Some furniture was broken, especially in bathroom. Also I would say cleaning was not perfect. If the staff reads this, I would kindly ask you to pay more attention to checking inside wardrobes and drawers to make sure that nothing has left there after previous guests

Definately worth to pay extra for room upgrade. Room with view to inside of hotel (spa zone) would not be very nice. Windows can`t be opened, so just conditioned air.

Breakfast tasted okay, but dind't had much of variety. Eggs and bacon were cold

The spa +mini bar attracted a lot of drunk people/ groups using it to start a night out so it was rather loud and not that relaxing. Poor breakfast - small sortiment, everything almost finished 1,5h before breakfast time was over, and overall rather messy buffe

Very nice spa. Have read some people saying it is old and cold-that is just not true. Kids and adults in our family have equally good impressions about it-actually, it's a 10. Food was great, we ordered it from the restaurant in the hotel to our -nothing to complain about. The room was also absolutely fine as a family room. We ordered this hotel because of the spa and because it is close both to harbour and old Tallinn. We have got what we wanted and were happy about our choice :)
