The location, at this moment right in front of the hotel a construction of a metro station is ongoing so reaching the hotel requires more time as many streets are cut. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is not the best and lacks options to go for something to eat or drink; options at the hotel are quite expensive. During our stay we experienced some issues with the door of the room and safety box, however the staff helped us as soon as possible to fix them.

The staff at the hotel is great, always helping and trying to make a comfortable stay.

The presentation of the packed breakfast was just atrocious. Sandwich and bakery items were packed in a polystyrene tray covered in plastic wrap. The sandwich was so sad. Literally just bread and a piece of chicken. So sauces or salad in the sandwich.

Good location. Close to restaurants, pharmacy and shops. Taxis are readily available outside the hotel. Close to giza pyramids. Very accommodating, they allowed us early check in at no extra cost.

Prices were a bit high considering the quality. The area is a bit sketchy, it's def not safe to walk around at night or even during the day if your not with a friend or group. Also they were short staff quite a bit.

The facility is really nice and clean. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Nice pool and location is somewhat close to the pyramids

its in a dreadful area - not for walking around on your own b ut good if you have activities planned the spa was very disorganised despite only having me as a customer. The woman had no record of my appointment. She put the 2 saunas on as I was about to get in which left me naked and cold in both despite the fact she was there at 10 when my appointment was at 11. They need to sort this out. I booked a suite and discovered I was put in a room with no windows as it was internal. £120 a night and immediately started to experience claustrophobia very badly. They tried to offer me other room but they were each bad for what I was expecting at the price I had paid. The next day they moved me into a lovely suite.

exceptionally clean very good quality food at buffet breakfast and dinner on level 1 same above for the ground floor cafe nice bars and italian restaurant on site roof bar where you can just about the see the top of the pyramids almost always empty swimming pool very organised despite it being almost full for the week I was there I was allowed to use the conference room for my zoom work when the wifi was bad in the room business office to use computers it has a gym, spa and hair salon They changed my room without question after a day

Poor internet access. None in the rooms. Cash machine did not work. Aircon needed to be fixed while we were in the room. Front desk staff told me the room was going to be ready and I should wait. 2 hours passed, the room was not ready. Please tell the truth. It is easier to bear than telling people what you think they want to know.

    The pool.

The hotel is ok but doesn’t meet the criteria of a 4 stars hotel. It’s quite expensive for what you actually get. The lights went out a few times: first time we were waiting for the lift and it turned off and then during the night, turning off the AC, so the room would get very warm and I had to get up to turn it on… The internet is very slow and sometimes stops working. I have to say this hotel was quite disappointing special coming from a full week at Al Masa Hotel and Spa (also 4 stars and cheaper, that hotel was just incredible). I wanted an hotel closer to the pyramids for the weekend but if it was now I would have stayed at Al Masa (40min ride to the pyramids). Half a day would have been enough to go to the pyramids, visit and come back.

This hotel is 15 min away, by car, from the entrance to visit the pyramids.

When booking the hotel i booked a room with twin beds. We were given a room with a double bed and the AC was leaking. There was water in the room when we woke up. The rooms were exchanged the following day however we had an issue with the toilet and this was reported to reception. Someone was sent to address the issue, however it wasn't resolved and we couldn't use the toilet during the stay. We had to use the toilet in the 2nd room we had booked. This made the stay uncomfortable

I have stayed at Barcelo in Tangier Morooco and it was amazing . The best hotel I ever been to . I was expecting the same experience at this Barcelo, but it was no where near as nice . The staff was slow . I did like the tours though . The room were outdated. Needs to be renovated. However, I did enjoy the pool. Breakfast could be a little better too

Fortunately/ unfortunately for tourism and locals a metro is being built in front of the hotel it has destroyed the image of the street and a lot of rubbish and unsafe walkways left outside the hotel (not hotels issues of course ) other than that it’s perfect and would stay again.

Freindly staff who can speak good English and I assume Spanish from the Spanish groups that were there, very informative and always asks to clean my room. I was usually going to breakfast 10 mins before closing and they let me finish my breakfast and pick what I wanted before closing time . I had issues booking Uber to the airport and a friendly staff member kindly did it for me given my unique situation very early in the morning after checkout.

I got upgraded to a suite on level 4, and the room size and location are great , but the bathroom needs updating and repairs done.

The hotel had different options for dinner. You could use the restaurant, the buffet, or order food from a dedicated bar area. All food options were good.
