GreeceReception staff could use a little bit more training. Morning/breakfast staff as well. Better training regarding service. Restaurant in the morning needs special attention. Tablecloths are burned and give you a feeling of being dirty. The breakfast buffet needs to be reorganized. The current setup does not help. Things in the buffet do not have any logic in the way they are presented. Food needs to be covered (for healthy reasons and to be fresh for a longer time) The Wi-Fi configuration needs an update. We had to log in 2-3 times a day to connect to the internet. Housekeeping needs to pay attention in the rooms (see dirty windows) and public areas (elevator windows and handles) Maintenance (update the current TV setup and fix the imperfections with the elevator ( door handle not opening from inside at the ground floor/ floor display not fixed in the metal frame)
The hotel is situated in the city center facing the sea. It is a good location and an amazing experience. Special thanks to Tanya who took care of our issues and offered support during our stay. Launch and dinner on the rooftop restaurant are amazing. To recommend if you stay here or even if you don't stay here. Very good food and service.

AustriaDo not expect silence when you close the old, original windows. Alexandria is loud and the hotel is in the middle of bustling traffic. Perhaps ask for a room further up if you're a light sleeper, but maintaining as much of this jewel in it's original form is - in my opinion - more important than modernizing windows etc, so I found this to be no real issue. Also, the shower flooded the bathroom a little, that could be improved.
A touch of afordable luxury in the center of Alexandria. Perfect location to explore (even if just one night for us). I particularly loved the rooftop buffet breakfast and that the rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures. There is plenty of (almost too much) staff at hand for anything you might need. Stayed in moderately warm February and did not need heating/AC, so can't comment on that. A steal for under 85USD per night for a double room. Would visit again and recommend to my friends.

United Kingdomour Booking was a triple plus an Extra Bed , what we fond was one double bed plus an extra bed , as per our booking we suppose to have a light dinner but the guy in Reception said no we do not have , the wifi was very poor.
Location is on the heart of Alexandria , Very Nice Sea Viewing, the suite size was perfect, breakfast could be Better by adding more items.

Hotel location will help and dragg several visits in the near future ....this is a positive aspect for the hotel ....yet I added an action on my side to plan for a visit sooner.

The hotel is beautiful and feels like you have stepped back in time. Feels like a royal, luxurious holiday in the early 1900's. The rooms were really clean, the Sky View restaurant was amazing and the staff were all lovely.

United KingdomThe noise from the street was loud, but I would expect that to be an issue anywhere in Alexandria because it’s a 24/7 kind of city. Other than that, I really have no complaints. I couldn’t believe the value of this place!
It was a beautiful historic hotel. The views from the restaurant at breakfast were stunning, and the staff was very attentive. The price is fantastic, and the location is great. It’s walking distance to the Library of Alexandria, even closer to the train and bus stations, and a short Uber to Qaitbay, Pompeii’s Pillar, and all the other major sites.
