The location is excellent. Just a short boat ride to everything and the boat is complimentary. The staff are very warm and friendly and gave us a free upgrade to our room. A fair choice of breakfast items to choose from.

It’s a little dated maybe the hotel needs upgrading. My room was great but required maintenance.

This beautiful hotel is in the most stunning and peaceful location. The world stands still and you feel calm as soon as you step off the boat. It is on ISIS island in the Nile and has wonderful views, the flowers fill the air with fragrance. It’s wonderful.

The island location is great and the spacious area allows for enjoyment of both the island and the River Nile. The breakfast is satisfactory, although it would benefit from more fresh juice options. Bed is comfortable.

I did not appreciate the staffer who stopped us to ask us to leave a review. It's okay to ask how our stay at the hotel was but not to demand that we pull out our phone on the spot to leave a 10 star review that moment. It was too demanding.

Sadly a farm water pump was running loudly all day till 730pm. And water poured out of our bathroom ceiling at 1030pm. It was addressed shortly after my reporting. No comp was offered for being woke up and having plumbers in the room.

The upkeep of the hotel is really not great. Bathroom door lock broken, bathroom leaking. Breakfast was average. The room given was nowhere to the image while selecting the room.

The location is wonderful. Probably that's the only reason for people to book.

Receptionist staff was slow and not focused on handling the matter of a guest in front of him but kept sccepting interruption by other guests who were travel guides. It looks like a pattern that these travel guides do not respect the meaning of a “queue” and keep interrupting the receptionist while they are not standing in the line. Hair dryer was damaged and caused electricity in the room off 3 times. I told the receptionist in the early morning both orally and through a message but after I came back in the evening, the problem wasn’t solved. As a solution, we got moved to a smaller room with 2 beds instead of 1 bed. If things were not deescalated by receptionist manager and customer relations who apologized several times, we’d have given a very bad review.

Loud and unruly children of other guests running up and down the corridor and banging doors of their room. Totally understand it is not the hotels fault but it was very annoying when you are just wanting to relax. We did mention it to the reception staff. The hotel should be able to share with guests that children need to be supervised when in public places especially near the rooms. Our rooms were close to the lobby and reception area.

Takes time to go back and forth if you need something on the main land. Like most properties in Egypt quite old and hence the flush took time to refill, like a lot of time and had to convince the staff to change the room, which was thankfully sorted. Check in and sorting issues took ages. Defo not 5 star

Located on an island, but they have boats for free to pick up and drop from the main land. Rooms are good however do check everything first when you enter. Nile Views are good and the buffet is value for money. They have 3 restaurants on the property. The guest relations manager was good

Pyramisa deserves a 10 for their efforts to upgrade the hotel - and in particular the lady sitting at the guest services desk in the lobby - but the initial impressions at check-in weren't overly positive; with unprofessional and impolite service.

Location, location and location! What more could you ask for than a private island? The free ferry ride to the centre was really a treat. Excellent breakfast. Spacious room. Quite good dinner buffet with friendly waiter.
