First time of my life to pay for pocket of ice it was so stupid from the hotel to even ask for it usually its free in even 1 star hotel

I would prefer the pool to be a cooler temperature - just my preference. The lifeguards at the pool were maybe a little too attentive at times!

The room was lovely and in a great location. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel buffet had good quality food and the prices were very reasonable. Huge bed and two duvets - fantastic......no duvet stealing by my other half! The hotel transfer service uses well maintained cars and sensible drivers - worth paying the extra for compared to cheaper options. The pool was clean and a good size. The view of the golf course was pleasant. Options to pay in different currencies.

It is quite a distance from the city center.

The breakfast was enjoyable, although there is potential for improvement to align with the expectations of a 5-star hotel. On the other hand, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

It would be helpful to have a small adults only pool elsewhere on the grounds. The pool is not the most relaxing place for a solo traveller...however, there might be one that I haven't seen.

Noisy weddings every night are not great for relaxing evenings in the lovely gardens

Main issue, hotel seems to be specialized in weddings or other big events...and on Thursdays and Fridays ....it's quite popular...and when such event is happening...hotel seems NOT to care about other guests, as noisy loud music and people are in the garden. This should not be allowed when guests are paying such high rate for rooms. Other issue, the WIFI at the pool was not working well ...up and down. Drinks are quite expensive (cheap compared to EU standards) and if you want to fill up your fridge's room, just walk 3 minutes out of the hotel...there's a mini-market where you can buy everything...roughly 4 times cheaper than at the hotel (same for snacks). Hotel is quite far away from city and airport...but close to Mall of Egypt (huge shopping area, really huge !) and they should provide FREE shuttle to this place. That would be a big plus for guests. it's a 5-10 minutes drive only (or 1h by quick walking).

Comfortable big rooms, good cable TV, good internet in room and in lobby (see don't like...as well). Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool, not heated as it was said in booking's descpription, but since air temperature was above 30 C ...not really needed. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice (of course no bacon or salami, as no pork meat in Egypt) Keep in mind it's a 4-stars at Egyptian standards, not the same as EU or US standards, but still very nice place.

Every night there was more than one wedding near rooms with loud DJ, one night there were three weddings at same time, this ruined our peaceful stay.

Breakfast was really good and tasty. The staff gave us a beautiful room with both pool and golf view once they saw us bride and groom

Upon arrival, we were told there wasn’t a room available even though I had booked and received confirmation. We were taken in an old bus to the awful hotel next door. We were tired from a long haul flight. In the end, we were ushered back to the Pyramid hotel. It was not a good start and soured our stay in the hotel.

The location is very isolated! Golf course looks nice and staff were nice.

It’s my second time staying there, it’s a very good hotel, could do better in terms of cleanliness, which it’s not so bad, but for my taste I would say 90% Also doesn’t cater to specific conditions, I'm coeliac and the breakfast doesn’t have any gluten free option, the buffet is huge and I’ve managed with fruits and eggs. I know culturally in Egypt they are prompt to help and get your luggage’s, I’m on the spectrum and have severe anxiety and like to keep my luggage. If they get some training on neurodiverse, it would improve a lot, overall I really recommend the hotel.
