Paseo de la Sabica, 40, Granada City Center, 18009 Granada, Spain

눉Only problem encountered was 1 of 2 computers (1 euro/15 minutes) in lounge was broken, and staff was unaware so time wasted--refunded our euro however.
눇We loved the setting, and the accommodations were very good, especially for the price. Very clean, well kept hotel with helpful staff. Convenient parking by hotel staff.

눉I did not think this hotel was a good value... it's just a little too run-down and seems way more three-star... even two-star to me. In my room, there was a metal panel in the bathroom ceiling that would dislodge itself every time the wind blew... then they hadn't turned on the air conditioning yet even though it was in the high eighties during the day. So, my room got baking hot--especially when the sun shined into the windows that didn't have adequate drapes to block it. The dining room is like what you'd expect to see for a dinner at a cheap tradeshow... with tables placed around an expansive ballroom and very little ambiance. I put out the "do not disturb" sign on my door and some maid came knocking at 8:30 a.m... and then again at 11:00 a.m... apparently that sign has no value whatsoever--so, I'm not sure why they have it. All day long and part of the night, there was drilling and hammering outside my window because they were restoring the pool--which would have been nice to lay by since the weather was actually quite miserably hot during the day. Too bad they didn't think of pool reconstruction during the cooler months. If I were to do it over, I'd just pay less for a three-star hotel or I'd find something that actually was four-star.
눇Good location for visiting the alhambra.

눉The room was a little bit small, but we didn't mind for two nights.
눇The hotel is really approx. 3-4 minute walking from the entrance of Alhambra. Room was clean (although not too big), breakfast was perfect. Good location if someone wants to go to Alhambra. From the entrance of Alhambra, there is a minimbus service to the center of Granada (1.2 Euro/person/ride at Oct. 2014), that is a good service. Although I am an experienced driver, I would not dare to drive in the narrow streets of the old town. Parking was available only in the parking lots of Alhambra (a few 100 meters far) at a slightly discounted cost as compared to the list prices.
