눉The fixed hairdryer in the bathroom was not great, would suggest you take your own.
눇The hotel had been recently refurbished and we were impressed. The rooms were well furnished and the beds were extremely comfortable. The power shower was excellent. There was a great choice at the breakfast buffet and you could eat as much as you wanted though we found the eggs a bit tasteless (wonder if they were not free range). There were plenty of sun beds and we didn't have much of a problem getting beds together (there were 8 of us). Sun beds huge and towels to match. It was great being able to order food and drink by pressing a buzzer beside the bed though the service was a little slow at times. On the whole we found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. The hotel is well positioned right beside the beach and there is a promenade which separates the pool area from the beach. There are also loungers on the beach in a cordoned off area that is private to the hotel. The path to the beach is a gently slope which was better than other hotels further along which had steps down to the promenade. We did try the hotel's beach front restaurant but weren't that impressed. The dishes didn't quite work and some of the food was cold. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the old town which has a great selection of shops, also plenty of restaurants to choose from and we ate there every night apart from the first. We would particularly recommend the restaurants in Orange Square. We were happy to relax at the hotel most days but did take the ferry to Puerto Banus which gave us a view of the coastline. If you go there turn right when you get off the ferry as this takes you to all the high end shops, we turned left which led us to a not so nice beach area which could have been anywhere. Would recommend the sea view rooms on a high floor. I had 201 which was fine but the balcony had a side view to the hotel next door which was not so nice and made the balcony less private so would recommend sea view room number ending 2, 3 or 4 instead.
