The hallways were dirty when we arrived. The bathroom does not have a vent. The door and locking mechanism to the balcony door were super old and would not close properly. The entire building used to be an office building and they converted the offices to "apartments".

It was a very basic room and it was kind of not well maintained. Some minor things that were broken and stuff like that.

The apartment was located right in the center of Madrid in Plaza Sol and the room had everything that was needed.

The hallway has motion sensor lights. They do not operate well. You find yourself walking down a pitch black hallway until the lights turn on. This can be very scary.

I liked the location of the property, the kitchen and washer were convenient, and everything seemed clean. I also appreciated the prompt response to any issues.

It was slightly challenging at times getting into the apartment. We were given the wrong codes a couple of times but the issues were resolved quickly enough.

The location was amazing. Incredibly close to almost all the places you could wish to visit in Madrid. The accommodation itself was good for the value especially when comparing it to other accommodations in Madrid.

The location is perfect, right next to the Sol station in the heart of Madrid. The apartment itself is perched on the highest floor, nestled just beneath the wooden roof, giving it a unique and delightful touch. t was clean, well-equipped, and quite spacious (we were a group of 5).

- The checking in was online. The link did not worked very well and I needed to repeat the process many times. It was particularly annoying because I did not have internet at my mobil. - No wifi in the room. - You hear all the noise from other rooms.

it wasnt as much that i didnt like it, it was to be expected but others who are booking should know that ours was on the 5th floor, elevator reaches 4th floor and then you have to go up one more with no lift access. all of this was well communicated via whatsapp, just something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues.

The location was incredibly convenient. Literally just above the Plaza Sol. Lots of tourist things near by, restuarants, bar, tapas, shops. the room had 2 levels which fit our family perfectly. we had actually prepared for 1 more person and we wouldve had plenty of room.

It was quite complicated to check in the room and we were asked for many personal data compared to what is normally asked for by other places. We didn't feel very welcome.

It was a value for money place to stay and the location was very convenient.

Property required 200 Eur deposit, it was not common when you book in booking.com platform, and moreover we only heard about it on check in day... Secondly, many strict house rules regarding noise less than 30 decibels, no alcohol, even returning to room (I cannot imagine staying in center of city and returning back to room totally sober), etc. Too strict to our opinion.

Overall very good location, just in the heart of Madrid.

However the building is very noisy over the weekend, with people partying and coming and going all through the night (literally 5-6am). There is little soundproofing between apartments and the building also smells of smoke most of the time, which is not the best. The amount of kitchen equipment available is quite limited and having no WiFi is annoying. Also the remote check-in group you are added too are constantly asking you questions. I would have preferred if they just sent me the check in codes and then let me know they are available. I don't need to be messaged all the time, or begged for a review, whilst I am on holiday.

The location of this place is amazing, not even a minute's walk from the exit of Sol Metro station. You are right in the middle of Madrid, so close to the landmarks and shops. The bed was comfortable, having air conditioning was nice and the apartment was clean. The week days were quieter.

Paper thin walls didn't sleep much, you can hear absolutely everything, neighbors full conversation. The electricity kept going off few times a day, very poor wifi, very small bathroom

We didn’t like so much this kind of distance check in where you communicate with someone through WhatsApp (in a group chat) and you have to share all your personal info through there in order to give you instructions to get into the building. We think that we missed all the meaning of hospitality some how, although the communication was fast and the instructions clear for our accommodation.

We liked the fact that the house is in the city center, that has 2 bathrooms and was cosy.
