Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not a lot!
This Aparthotel was such good value for money, it is located about 15 min walk from the metro which is super easy to use! There is a Lidl and a Burger King in right across the road!

The area is not too nice (next to railways).
Very comfortable aparthotel, with free garage. The apartment was a bit outdated, but all worked well. Excellent sound proof rooms.

The only problem I have noticed is that there was no shower gel in the bathroom. And shampoo was almost empty as well.
In general everything was good based on 1 night stay. There is also lidl supermarket nearby.

Waiting 20 minutes or so for hot water from the water heater after one of us had a shower was a little unusual and inconvenient but not a major problem. The management did inform us of this when we arrived. The shower cubucle had no shelf for shampoo etc. but again not a big problem.
All of the rooms were a very good size. The accomodation was warm [even in December] and the bed was comfortable. The room was really clean and tidy when we arrived and was cleaned perfectly each day. The on site secure Parking was excellent and easy to use. WiFi was very good.

If you're visiting Madrid as a tourist the location is a little bit out of the main city area, although the price probably reflects that.
Excellent value for money. More like renting a little apartment than a room, big living area with sofa and kitchen table etc. Quiet at night.

Kitchen was sparsely equipped but adequate for a few days stay. No sharp cutting knife but table knives were actually quite sharp, enough to chop vegetables and slice an onion.Cleaning lady kindly lent me a corkscrew ( receptionist will open wine for you on request)
Very clean comfortable apartment situated on outskirts of city. Close to metro station (40 minutes to city centre Sol station) 15 minutes taxi to airport (1 hr by metro)cleaning staff very good and very helpful. Kitchen, living room v good, good bedroom, 2 TVs.. Enjoyed a small balcony. Overall a comfortable well equipped apartment . Everything worked.Good value for money.

Kitchenette needs some more basic items.
Spacious Apartment, walking distance to train, metro. Supermarkets nearby. Fast access to airport by cab, les than 20 min, as against long public transport time.

Facilities were somewhat missing, e.g. there was no water cooker. The sound insulation could be better, during the week all the people get to breakfast before 7AM.
Train and metro station was quite close. Shops were nearby. Apartment had bedroom, living room and kitchen, a lot of space. Friendly staff.

A bit out of the way but there a well-stocked supermarket nearby. Enough for our needs.
It was spacious, just nice for a small family. The front desk staff were all excellent, professional in their service and ever helpful to reply to all our queries and assistance. I had a chance to patronage the quaint cafe below. The friendly staff made it easy for me to my make order and looks like they have a bunch of regulars there.

It really, really needs some refurbishing, the walls were all marked up and dirty and the flooring was all scratched. Don’t get me wrong, the place was clean but some painting would make it look so much better.
It’s super close to the centre, the airport, Bernabeu Stadium, 30 min from Warner Park. They cleaned the apartment every single day, the staff was very polite and accommodating. The little restaurant downstairs was great, nice breakfast and very affordable.
