Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe apartment was in an industrial area of car dealerships. There was no supermarket except a small Carrifour in a gas station. The apartment was very old and very badly kept. The kitchen although had a washing machine and a tiny dishwasher it lacked baking dishes and only had three wine glasses odd cups cracked dishes. The oven only had one temperature and that was extremely hot and the fridge was very old and stained. The patio furniture was old rattan broken with nuts and bolts falling out and the rattan all split .The huge umbrella was also broken. The bedroom and bathroom was a good size and the water pressure was very good. The bathroom was ensuite so if somebody was sleeping on the pull-out couch they would have to wait till the morning to use the bathroom otherwise walk through the bedroom and into the bathroom which wasn't very private. There was one restaurant on the beach and the prices were astronomical for instance a steak is €75 and two slices of bread were €6 50 . We ended up walking about 6 minutes and in an area where there was lots of car repair garages we found a local Spanish restaurant that served a three-course meal including wine or beer for €12 which was delicious piping hot and very generous. But if you didn't have a app on the phone you would never find it .
The apartment was perfectly situated beside the beach and boardwalk and the view from my balcony was perfect. The problem was at exactly 3:00 p.m. the sun was gone from balcony and it became pretty chilly. The agent Tatiana was exceptional as when I arrived I was very ill and she got her colleague to help bring my luggage to the apartment and checked in most days to see how I was doing. I was also going to stay another week in a different apartment but it didn't work out but Tatiana took me to many apartments to see if they suted sadly they didn't. She was very kind patient .

Czech Republic100% recommended! Great accomodation for group of people (we were there with 5 friends) - 3 bedrooms, living room with big table and entrance to the balcony, separate kitchen, two bathrooms. Easy to park in front of the building. Very kind and helpful Tatiana, who was very proactive. Thank you so much once again!

United KingdomIf you dont have a car, maybe the walk from there to the centre of Marbella might be a little far.
The apartment was really big and clean, it had a beautiful view of the beach. It has a big balcony with a table and chairs which is nice for having breakfast in the warmer months. The bedrooms are spacious and there's a lot of storage space as well. I had a great stay there.

IrelandYou will have to bring or buy everything including bin bags, washing tablets etc..it’s perfect if you have a car, there are shops nearby but you will have to carry your shopping bags or get a taxi back..
Nice view, good location for the beach, lovely restaurant on the beach. We’ve asked for baby cot and it was provided on arrival.

AustraliaThe location isn’t the greatest. Not much around the area as it’s quite industrial. There are no convenience shops around - although we found a 24-hour Carrefour Express as part of a petrol station that was just a 5min walk away. We walked 20-50 mins to get to places of interest, or Uber (which at 6 people adds up when you’re paying €20-€40 each time for a people carrier.)
Very nice and spacious holiday apartment that suited our family of 6 very well.

ItalyThe place is perfect for enjoying some time close to the beach with friends and family. The availability of a swimming pool and a supermarket close by makes everything even nicer. The only drawback is that the center is not very close (20-30 minutes walking).
Banana Beach provides 24h check out by letting guests collect the key directly on a security box. We had a three bedrooms apartment, fully furnished and equipped with small kitchen and balcony. The swimming pool was amazing, as well as the vicinity to the beaches.

IrelandPool facilities not open until midday, a large distance to other facilities such as shops and restaurants (apart from the 2 on the beach), perhaps a sewage issue in the building with stale smell in the property, air conditioning working at a very minimum and only in some rooms, towels or toiletries (including toilet paper) are not changed or re filled
Beautiful views, nice pool, Tatinia was perfect to deal with, full communication and fast responses.

United Kingdom- As it’s not a serviced apartment, I’d suggest providing more towels and bedding so guests have the option to change them as and when required - The mattresses weren’t the comfiest - On check out I handed the keys to the member of staff on duty but she didn’t really make any conversation with us to see how our stay was which is just the basic customer service you would expect
+ Close to beach + Terrace overlooked the beach & mountains as it was a side view + Spacious 3 bed, 2 bathroom apartment + Clean + Out of hours check in was easy

FranceThe building work in the house just above our heads with extreme noise and drills. I had to work with conference calls and my friends needed rest with health issues but that was kind of impossible, just bad luck probably, but in reality the hosts should know and give a heads-up.
The location on the beach, so close to the city. The size of the balcony (Deluxe apartment). Communication with hosts to get keys and early check-in. Great space with 2 bathrooms and everything you need really.

IrelandThe WiFi was somewhat patchy, not great in today's world with devices etc. There is parking, but it is not reserved (public access) so you might have to park far away. The swimming pools were closed - should this be disclosed in advance instead of crowing about the wonderful pools?
Spacious apartment, couldn't be closer to the beach. Nive big beach, we found it kid-friendly. You do need to have access back to the apartment though, but tis is OK since it's so close. Facilities OK, sufficient for our purposes, but see some of the concerns below.

United KingdomThe pool does not open till 12:30, it wasn't a major issue for us as we had the beach as well but for families this made be an issue. There were just a few things that would of made the stay a little better. At the beginning there was a lack of towels, however Tatiana, as soon as we asked, arranged for more to brought up. We also had a lack of toilet paper and were not given spare. But we finished ours on the second last day so didn't see the point in asking for more. I'm sure it would of been provided if we did.
The apartment was really lovely, clean, comfortable, it had pretty much everything you need. The location was perfect, just on the beach and close to the main town. All our appliances worked perfectly and we had a really lovely stay. Tatiana was also an amazing host and was able to meet any ask we asked for. We were even allowed to stay an extra day by the pool and use its facilities before we needed to leave for the airport and Tatiana allowed us to store our cases in her office. Really amazing host who was accommodating and really friendly and always happy to help or give suggestions.
