Would have been great if the pool was heated but was still great to ge able to enjoy the sunshine poolside.

Issues: the shower molding needs spiffing up. There was mold. And the shower/tub floor was VERY slippery. Option of a rubber bath mat for safety would be a smart move. Our room window was facing the back of apartments. Not a great view, although I believed we had a charge for a good view. But no serious issues.

Close to all sites in any direction. Nice wine and cheese at 5 and a great night tour of the Gothic area. Noise was minimal. Nice size room and big bathroom. GREAT BIG BED. Nice bedding and towels. Very friendly staff.

Pillows were a bit flat, shower leaked, but it looked like it had been for a while. Bath towels weren’t very fluffy.

Loved the area, close to everything. Lovely size room, nice size beds, lovely bathroom. Good breakfast, & food. Cocktails were great, they didn’t scrimp on the alcohol.

We didn’t have cash to give a tip after the meal and couldn’t pay by card. The team were amazing!

The staff in this hotel were just brilliant. So friendly, informative and helpful! The food was probably the best we had in the city. The location was perfect. We hardly used public transport. The team helped us book a walking tour that was excellent. We were amazed how interesting the history of Barcelona is! We made use of wine time twice, what a lovely idea. We didn’t want to leave!

They do not provide washcloths and while nice to have a full sized tub/shower combo, there needs to be anon-slip mat in the tub - it was very slippery.

A centrally located hotel in a busy tourist area, but a bit off the beaten path, it was quiet and charming. The location provided us with easy access to many points of interest in Barcelona. The staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast delicious, and bonus really good Sangria served at the bar.

We stayed at the hotel to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and had traveled via London from Canada to get a break. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home, the advice shared was excellent, and the bar/restaurant service was exceptional. We'd recommend the hotel to everyone.

The beds were not that comfy, and there was some dry wall plaster issues on the ceiling falling down onto the floor in our room

My room felt a bit stuffy couldn’t keep the curtains open due to close proximity of other buildings. Would have preferred a higher floor

The Sunday morning walking tour was excellent and free! Highly recommend. The free wine and cheese at 5pm was also a nice touch

Directions to the hotel were complex. We received a 3-minute video over WhatsApp on how to understand how to get there. Prior to this, I couldn't get hold of the hotel, nor was a told how to get there. This needs to be improved.

Shower over bathtub - can be difficult for seniors. Perhaps enquire about a walk-in shower when booking.

The square was a little difficult to find, but we really enjoyed staying in the historic centre. Just look for Catedral Barcelona. The hotel is just around the corner. Lots to explore. Wonderful breakfast, dinner and drinks, with very accommodating staff. Great ice cream shop just two doors down. Be sure to take in the mural at the end of the street.

Nothing … zero complaints

Superb location for seeing many sights! Many tours begin within a few blocks away. Very nice breakfast … helpful staff at desk … spacious room for a large city … and truly comfortable bed and pillow. My wife and I both loved it!
