It's a (beautiful) old building and noise carries, you might hear other guests coming home!

Fantastic location on a tree lined street of high end designer shops, with a main metro and mainline station accessible from just outside the front door. Casa Battlo is next door, Las Ramblas on the next block and Sagrada Familia a pleasant walk away. Communication beforehand was useful and clear, and Santiago, who met us outside on arrival, is charming and so helpful. Flat itself was beautiful, roomy and had all we needed for our 4 night stay.

Great location, near restaurants and coffee shops. The appartment is on main street but looks at inner courtyard and was very quiet. Close to bus stops and it's very easy to take a taxi. The host was very kind and made our journey trouble-free.

What we didn’t like some people may love—the location. It’s in a high-end shopping district and right next to the Casa Batlló. There are hundreds of people in front of the Casa Batlló all day taking pictures and waiting for a tour. The streets are packed in the daytime. There are also not as many restaurants, coffee shops, and cocktail bars as in other parts of the city. Having said that, one advantage of being in the shopping district is how quiet it is at night compared to other parts of the city where people are going to bars and partying.

This is a large apartment with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It is one of the few apartments in Europe we’ve been in with a separate washer and dryer. The beds were great, and the apartment was very quiet most of the time. We met someone at the apartment for check-in. There is a metro station a few steps away.

Nothing to complain about. There were restorations in progress in the staircase and the luggage storage wasn't big enough for snowboard bags. Minor issues.

The apartment was very spacious, with large rooms, high ceilings, separate bathrooms, and a large kitchen. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's in an exceptional location in the heart of the old city near several excellent tourist locations and great shopping, cafes and restaurants. What more could you ask for.

Honestly, there was little to say negative. If I was really picky I might say the couch in the living area wasn’t super comfortable. The beds are firmer, which might not be to the liking of some, but we slept great!

Getting to the apartment and getting the keys was really easy and much appreciated after a long flight. Santiago was great and helped us get our bearings and suggested a few places to eat. The amenities were very good and the place well equipped. We needed for nothing. The balcony was lovely and I wish we took more advantage of it. The kids loved the cool 1900’s elevator!
