Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There is no pool facilities - although we knew this before booking, be mindful if this is something you can’t go without!
Fantastic location! Would recommend booking directly with the hotel for the best deal. We upgraded when we arrived for a small fee and received a beautiful room with a balcony looking onto the port!

Perfectly located for our visit to Puerta Banus, only one street back from the port. The suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a guest toilet was very spacious. The kitchen had all appliances you would need for an extended stay except a kettle so we were unable to make tea. Otherwise the suite was well appointed. Parking was in an underground area immediately behind reception, perfect.

There is a slight odor from the drains. This is common however. It didn’t spoil our stay

Bath towel not clean, the house keeping didn’t clean the apartment properly ,parking cost 20 euro per day for hotel guest. Since the hotel at center there is a nightlife which is make a lot of noise we couldn’t sleep even after 1 am

I felt that the apartment was a bit dated.. It needs a dressing table and a a full length mirror. The only mirror to get ready was in the bathroom. I used the drying area to hang my clothes and keep my shoes. This could be transformed into a walk-in closet for clothes and shoes and a little step ladder for shelves above. Otherwise, we slept well and out most of the time.
I liked how central the hotel is. The apartment was cleaned and fresh towels every day. Staff were always pleasant. Breakfast was just enough to choose from. The sky lounge is a plus and open to the public. Near local amenities, restraunts, clubs, and pubs. 2 minutes from beach and ocean beach club.

There was a lot of maintenance work going on, however this may have been because it was out of season. Also water didn’t work in one of the bathrooms on arrival as the mains tap had been turned off. Facilities in general need updating.

Our room was not very nice… our view was basically across the street in on to the neighbours very untidy AC machines. No balcony. Very dated decor in room. Bedding quite diabolical, old fashioned blankets on bed, pillows extremely uncomfortable. Noisy hallways. Old fashioned TV. no tea/coffee no soaps in bathroom. We thought with such a lovely building on the outside the inside would be stunning… not the case.
location, location, location !!! easy parking Bang in Banus center Turn left to find the Bocana restaurant, lovely staff and breakfast by the sea. handy little shop in the reception for essentials.

Slight odour from the toilet area. Parking is just a little awkward to locate if you are not familiar with the area and cost an extra 20 euros for the night
Great position, just a short walk to the harbour at Puerto Banus. Reception staff were polite and helpful. We hired an apartment style room and it was useful to have a self service shop near reception for any essentials. The apartment was roomy, good size lounge, bedrooms and bathrooms.
