The heating in my room wasn’t working and the radiator in the bathroom came on at various times and was incredibly noisy at all hours of the night with a sound like water going in and out of it. Unfortunately it wasn’t sufficient to heat the bedroom too. I found a heater in the hallway and used that. It was a cold day and night so I had it on until about 3am

Great location. Although I was lucky and didn’t have a suitcase, for others it could be difficult as it’s situated up a lot of stairs if you access without a car. The host was friendly and there was a breakfast offer for a reasonable cost.

Shower incredibly small which makes it nigh impossible to bend down. Weird lock which took quite a while to crack way to open it.

There was nothing we did not like, but the price paid for the wonderful view is the short but steep walk from the centre of town. There is a gentler (car accessible) road approach which is somewhat longer, but the direct footpath is a stairway which probably equates to about 6-8 floors rise.

This is an excellent little hotel. The staff are friendly and speak very good English and the location gives many rooms a fantastic view over the town and country beyond. It's well placed to reach the town's second smaller beach too, which visitors do not seem to much use, but can be good depending on wind direction.

No hangers in closet, very uncomfortable beds (extremely soft and u shaped almost) and pillows, wrong information given before arrival un regards to driving to the door to drop of baggage, so my partner had to carry the baggage up all the stairs instead. Used condom on the windowsill upon arrival.

It should be listed as having no parking and that it is up a flight of stairs. I would recommend anyone with disabilities to not stay here.

No parking booking.com!!!!! And up a big flight of stairs which I didn't find out until I was there - not usually a problem but on this occasion I had a sprained ankle. Google maps will lose you, call the hotel for directions. Good views and adequate facilities - I was only there for 1 night.

The lady was very kind. I left my bike outside overnight (under a little roof) and saw that she put a plastic cover on the saddle to protect it from the rain. The room was very spacious and clean, bathroom was also clean. The view from my room was spectacular!

The room has no frills, the shower cubicle is ridiculously small but the bed was comfy enough. A word of warning, don't even think of driving up the narrow windy road, leave your car at the bottom and climb up the stairs, (worth it for the view)

the property is on a hillside and has several flights of steps leading up to it. if steps are difficult for you to use, there is a road but it is a much longer walk.

when entering our room we discovered the room was not cleaned after previous guests. we were offered another room. the hotel is clean and comfortable and looks OK but is quite old and plumbing needs attention: radiator in our room was leaking (though minor). when switching the bath tap to shower both bath tub tap and shower head run at the same time. other than that all was fine.

It’s not easy to get there but that’s what makes it special. Fit people only.

This is a great basic hotel with lovely staff in an amazing position above a unique seaside resort.

Customers should be warned about the virtual lack of road access to this property. The only way into the hotel is via a track barely wide enough for a car and once at the hotel there is barely room for two cars to park. The track does not go through and there are no turning spaces. Guests need to find parking at sea level and carry their luggage up the cliff side steps to the hotel. The hotel is best suited to back packers.

The stairs down to Ribadesella were steep! We liked it, but this hotel should only be recommended to people who are in good shape. It was also quite complicated to find parking, because the parking lot downtown was always full.

The woman who received us was very friendly and helpful, and ensured that we had everything we needed during our stay. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but were provided with the hot water we asked for by.

The hotel is located on a hill so it offers nice views and a short walk down the center from a shortcut (stairs); it is very close to the view points of Ribadesella, Sella river and restaurants. The size of the room and bathroom were good. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. We had a small window, which even it did not offer any view, it was nice to have it open and breathe the fresh air of the town (we did not pay for a sea view).

Good signage from the street. However, there are some short, steep steps to the hotel. It needs a clear sign at the gate entrance - it is easy to miss it. One electrical plug port needed immediate attention.

Reception staff were very cheerful and extremely helpful. Very clean.
