Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandAs my flight arrived late in the evening it would be a fantastic idea if some water and milk where left by the hotel as the on site shop closes at 5 o'clock ,I have seen this done in many places.
Great location, walking distance from just about everywhere you would want to visit.

United Kingdommy only gripe being a married couple was its 2 single beds pushed together lol. I didn't think mattress was the best woke most days with sore back, but wouldn't put me off staying here.
nice wee apartment for 2 adults 2 kids, had the basics you need away from home. nice wee sun trap with loungers at front of apartment. The pool was great for kids as was heated and being December they could actually go in the pool and swim for hours, and not come out freezing with blue lips lol. Bar was fine a little bit dearer for drinks but on holiday so didn't mind having a few. TBH i think if they were cheaper people would buy more and stay longer IMO.

IrelandI would highly recommend Caybeach The wood in the bedroom had black stains which was a bit off putting but a lick of paint would sort this. The reception staff are lovely and welcoming but the process is very very slow, there needs to be more than 1 member of staff on duty.

United KingdomThere were two female members of staff, one on reception and one in the pool bar, who were very grumpy unhelpful. The first morning we bought the buffet breakfast and we were all starving from travelling the night before. My eldest child has just turned 13 so he was charged double, even though he only ate some bread and jam. We are a vegan family, and I am gluten intolerant. I basically paid $7.50 to eat a bowl of fruit. The juice dispensing machine was also broken and the juice came out watery and fermented even though the waiter insisted it was fine. He also said he didn't have anything gluten free as they don't get asked for it very often so I would need to ask for them to get it in for me for the rest of the week. The oat milk, that was separated and not great tasting, was labelled "semi skimmed milk" and had been put out wrong. Basically, if you want pancakes and a cooked breakfast it's ok. But if you want anything else, you may be very disappointed. We were keen to use the mini golf, kids playground, basketball court, gym and sauna... The basketball court hoops are broken so that when you score a basket, the ball gets stuck up there. The kids playground and mini golf are also dilapidated and unusable. The gym and sauna are old, but just about still usable. But there is no toilet nor sink there, no spray and paper towel for cleaning the equipment, and the shower is ancient and probably broken. The whole area needs a serious lick of paint and repairs. It wouldn't take much to make it good again. I'm surprised they clearly haven't bothered in several years. However, overall, the accommodation, pool, location and most staff were great. And I did manage to use the gym three times that week. There was a steady flow of people to the gym who all commented on the poor state of it, so it's definitely time for some renovation.
The bungalows are bright and clean and comfortable with their own little patio and a small kitchen. The swimming pool is big and has massage jets.

United KingdomComplex not very private .. public dead end road goes through middle . Really only vehicles of people on complex or taxis but I personally prefer locked complex . Other members of public at anytime night or day . The bar area runs two happy hours … but only 1 staff on sand took forever to get served . You had to pay deposit for tv remote and although satallite stations the only English program was news . Wouldn’t allow you to change language.
Good size bungalow . Basic but clean . Comfortable bed. Sunny patio area with table and chairs plus sun loungers

United KingdomThe complex had an issue with their water supply, which was very close to being non-existent. We lost water completely for one day but even to have.a.hot shower, the water pressure was very low - unless you were happy for the temperature to be freezing cold! We're not people who complain much and so we just treated it as a base to sleep. However, considering we didn't even have a remote for the TV and had to pay a deposit for any sound to come thro, yet we had just come from a 1 nite stay at a hotel down the road, where we had 3 complimentary TVs in the whole suite, had a full working shower with hot water, and received 2 complimentary drinks on arrival, there does seem to be a.bit of a.difference in the two!!!!!
Good location and comfortable enough for our needs.

AustriaDoesn't create the best atmosphere when you are charged 150 euro deposit for the room on arrival and when you have to pay a deposit for every little thing (remote, towels, you also had to pay a fee for the safe ...). Also they charged 15 euros for breakfast when booked online, and there only 7.50 - bit of a rip-off. Bungalow was spacious but dated, especially the sofa bed - the pull out was broken and the mattress awful plastic, so really only manageable for a small child.
Great location, nice warm pool, good breakfast, spacious bungalow with a nice patio, staff at breakfast really friendly, kitchen quite well-equipped if you don't want to cook.
