Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBathroom was a little out of date, storage in the bedroom could have been better, pool drinks menu could have been more extensive (cocktails).
Bedroom was gorgeous, bed and pillows were so comfortable, the staff were really friendly and accommodating, excellent location, hotel grounds were beautiful, delicious food.

IrelandEven the location was good, the access going through industrial state is not ideal. I know the hotel is trying to solve and that would be great. Food quality is great but a broader range would be ideal.
Loved the atmosphere and decoration. Staff was superb and food was delicious (see note below for improvement).

United KingdomWaking up with a hangover and bottles of Evian being €10 Food and drink is expensive if you’re eating on site daily our bill at the end was epic, as much as the room again
Pool area, quiet rooms away from the restaurant. Big comfy beds, air con room with fridge / mini bar. Radios with Bluetooth speaker in rooms. Great products (no need to pack shampoo/conditioner) but the biggest draw is the food and drink - some of the best on the island! Cocktails amazing. Breakfast amazing. Steak and sides amazing.

SingaporeThe standard of the rooms is not the same as the restaurant. If the bathrooms of the villas/rooms were at the same standard as the restaurant the price of the accomodation would be OK. But they are not and the rooms/villas need to be renovated.
The staff is great and nice, the location great with beautiful views over the city. The restaurant is quite amazing. It’s very buzzing and not cheap but the service, ambience and food are outstanding. The pool is quite nice.

United KingdomDifficult to write but…the hotel is actually a restaurant (literally 100s of covers) with a small hotel attached. And this showed in the overall service and focus of the staff. The focus was mainly on restaurant operations and at times we felt like we were actually in the way by staying here. No service round the pool - trying to get a drink took ages and it was like they were too busy to deal with us. While the hotel grounds are lovely and the restaurant is very chic - you can see the investment has been in the restaurant - not in the rooms. The rooms are still reminiscent of its previous ownership when it was Es Trull. For £400 a night in June you expect much more. At night there are restaurant guests wondering all over the hotel grounds and reception and it felt a bit intrusive and ruined what should feel like an intimate location (only 10 rooms). We would come here to eat in the future with a group of people (although the prices are a bit top heavy even for Ibiza!) but unfortunately we would not stay here again after our experience.
The location is great and we were lucky to get our room upgraded. The gardens and surrounding areas were beautiful and well styled.

AustriaThe hotel is really small und you have only 10 rooms or so. There is a big pool, that‘s it. No Gym, no Spa and no Bar for the evening. You can only eat at the casa maca Restaurant for dinner. The price for Dinner and for the breakfast an pool menu is really over priced! One Bottle of water at the pool costs 10€ and a Burrata over 30€. It was not easy to find staff and there was no really service at the pool. Yo have to look a while for staff so you can order something. But the stuff was really kind. I wouldn’t come again.

AustriaThe price per night is absolutely not justified. The rooms are clean and moderately furnished, but for EUR 600 per night you expect a different level. Overall, the facilities are maintained, but would require a full renovation soon. The barbecue in the outdoor restaurant is providing a lot of smoke which is highly disturbing at the pool area and can even be smelled in the rooms.
