The very limited hours on reception mean that I had to pay 12 euros for a locker box to hold the keys. Messages and calls are answered only at limited times, so getting information about the keys was not easy. The bedroom is very tight. No bedside lights only the main roomlight. IAlso - it was December - and I was cold in the apartment.

The location is very close to the main tourist and shopping centre of Puerta del Sol. The apartment has a largish kitchen/living room

the sofa bed didn’t come with sheets because they expect you to lay €20/day basically to use their sheets for it. no hand soap, dish soap. a taxi cannot drive up to the hotel directly, you have to walk down a pedestrian street. you are on the second level directly in the center so it can be loud at night.

the main bed was very comfortable. the place was clean. the staff is nice and responsive.

Due to central location, it can be noisy at night. But this is to be expected from a City Centre apartment.

Convenient central location. Clean and well kept. Helpful communication via booking.com app and WhatsApp (thanks Lily!). Fantastic value for the amount of space, feels like a home from home with a comfy bedroom, a living space, a basic kitchen and a bathroom. Wi-fi, aircon & balconies were an added bonus!

The bathroom was ridiculously narrow so it was almost impossible to sit straight on the toilet and was was just simply drab, the only good thing about it was there was plenty of hot water. The fridge door handle was missing and the internal container broken and the kitchen generally very basically equiped. The floor in the kitchen/living room was warped and the edges chipped and I would say that generally the flat is in need of renovation.

Location was superb a few steps away from the Puerta de Sol with many restaurants literally outside the door and walking distance to Gran Via, museums Royal Palace etc.

First it wasn’t what I booked, i was given a different apartment than what i reserved. The building entrance: As i is in an old building its charming but got broken 2 times. one day i couldn’t even get inside the building and had to wait out in the cold for 45 min until someone from the restaurant on the corner helped me to get it. I messaged Patricia and her colleague and was asked to wait.So there’s the risk of not getting in and be left outside:)) The bathroom: The shower- basically one can barely use it. the entrance of the shower is millimetecally next to the wc, so to get in one must step on the wc. then the water that barely was pouring making it difficult to wash yourself then the towels that were grey not white, disgusting to use then; i had to buy my own towels.. The quality of the place is below the sea level, I stayed 7 nights and literally couldn’t sleep because of the noises that can be heard from both the other apartments inside the building and from outside. no proper dressing, no nightstands or something; in the bedroom there was just the bed and an improvised dressing. no place where to put stuff on, only on the floor.

Located in the noisiest place in Madrid (noisy until very late). Extremely small for three people. There were loose or broken things everywhere. Coffee had to be made by heating water in a big pan and then in a very old percolator. The door that divided our room from our sons was broken, so there was no privacy. The washing machine didn't work. Windows didn't close well, so the cigarette (and weed!) smoke from the terraces on the street below came inside the bedroom all night. There was no lift and the stairs were so old and uneven, very dangerous and uncomfortable. After our stay they were sending me messages, pushing me to give them reviews of 10. Why don't they just make it worth a 10, then I will give it to them.

The personnel did their best for us to be comfortable.

Central location, but extremely noisy over bars and restaurants. Installing soundproofing of windows would be a help.

Is located in the center of nightlife. So if you look for a quiet place to chill , is not for you. However the place is clean and comfortable. The host was very amable and helpful.

The neighbourhood is a lil bit louder than wanted, but that's something that host can't influence..

Everything :) place is just big enough, have two rooms, every single thing you need in the kitchen.. we had three balcons, so we could watch every part of our street, which is great especially in the night cause there are always some street happenings going.. Location is great, caus you can go to every sightsee by foot.. AMAZING!
