Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Disability access not very good. Restaurant menu choice could be a little better. Handrails by stairs and steps should be placed, or better placed because reception requires going up quite a few sets of stairs to gain access, until entry to parking underneath the hotel is set up so that the lifts can be used
Staff very good and helpful. Property location a bit difficult to find without satnav. Local area interesting to walk round--old and picturesque.

No wide selection of drinks in the so called bar (only gin and beer) and food are on high prices compared to the nearby restaurants
Location cause it’s close to our office, clean and staffs was very welcoming and friendly

Suited our journey and a great place to end up after a long ferry . Used it on the return as very comfortable. Parking , helpful staff , lady in the dinning room was , as always lovely. Our 4th stay there now and would recommend it .

Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice, room comfortable and spacious, pool clean and shaded seating nearby which was very welcome. Good accessible parking beneath the hotel. Easy access to Bilbao Airport.

A very nice hotel, but in a bit remotely place. All was very well organized, but as I was travel teenagers, maybe a bit too organized. Room for three was good, diner in hotel was a bit too good for teenagers 😉 and no options to downscale. Swimming pool was nice, but shortage in sun beds

Whilst the hotel had a bar, we found it v difficult to get service in afternoon / evening as staff were occupied with restaurant diners & paid little attention to residents. We thought the nearby natural park might offer walking but found very little, despite driving into mountains.
Pool & outdoor area lovely; free on street parking; clean comfortable rooms; we used the spa on a grey day & it was a real treat; efficient reception staff; Durango the town was a lovely surprise, we enjoyed exploring it.

on check in was asked for my mail adres, i declined and offered my credit card, this was declined they needed my mail adress so i could have the extras approved. I told them they could contact me via booking.com and would not give them my mail adres. in the end i had to pay for each item immediately. i parked the car and needed to pay the amount immediately. very strange policy, if this remains i would never return there.

bathrooms could be modernised, for a junior suite I would have liked nicer furniture in room as it was rather basic.
Beautiful hotel with lovely spa facilities. fine dining style restaurant and a nice bar.A short walk away from the train station. The staff in all areas are so warm , friendly and highly professional- The true stars of the show.

Would be nice to have some more subtle lighting and a smart TV. Also the Spa and gym is not included in the price of the room. The option of an airport pickup would be really helpful.
The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was huge and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. The huge Bath in the suite is great but would be nice to have bubble bath included in the toiletries.
