Everything was exceptional.

The Gran Hotel Domine is one of my favourite hotels. The staff are amazing, helpful, proactive and always smiling. The location is across the street from the Guggenheim and we were greeted every morning and evening with beautiful views of this astounding monument. And of course Puppy! The food is good, the atmosphere is good, the location is fabulous. What a great place to stay!

The hotel is situated in a great location, literally opposite the Guggenheim Museum, which is definitely worth a visit whilst you are in Bilbao. The breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant (half inside, half outside) and is fabulous. Rooms are really comfortable with top quality toiletries (we were upgraded to a junior suite which had Diptyque toiletries, very luxurious) - thank you!

Breakfast was expensive so ate elsewhere. Rooftop bar has a great view but could be made more cool with nicer lighting and ambience.

Great location near the Guggenheim, river, and within 30 minutes stroll of the old town. High standard of maintenance and great ambience, especially in the ground floor bar area. Javier at reception was fab with local advice and restaurant bookings, thanks.

Excellent rooms, comfortable beds, great shower. Location was perfect. Staff was very kind, thoughtful and helpful. They instantly showed us on a map where to go to see the best sites. The food on the rooftop was delicious. In general, although not a cheap option, our time here has been very special.

This is a lovely hotel - modern, stylish and comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect, just across the road from the Guggenheim and a short walk along the river to Casca Viejo, a few streets from the main shopping area, and 5 minutes from the funicular. A big, bright room, ideal to relax in after wandering around the city. This was our first time to visit Bilbao, we weren’t sure what to expect, but what a fantastic city. There are so many bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, we asked the concierge for some recommendations (Calle Ledesma on Saturday afternoon was a great experience) but really we just decided to stop wherever looked good for a drink and some pintxos and on to the next place. Without doubt we would recommend Bilbao as a place to visit, and without doubt we would recommend this hotel. The staff were so helpful, but a special thank you to Berta, for her charming service and assistance during our stay. We appreciated it so much.

A big, comfortable room overlooking the beautiful Guggenheim museum. Great location and short walk along the river into the historic part of town. The hotel staff were friendly and super helpful and the bar was also great.
