The hotel is centrally placed; in fact, it couldn't be more central. Very pleasant and helpful staff, and a comfortable room above one of the narrow streets on which the Bull Run takes place. Excellent breakfast, we really enjoyed our stay. The city of Pamplona is ideal for visiting the Bodega Otazu, a short drive from the city centre. I would like to return to visit both the city ad hotel on another occasion.

When arrived after walking Camino staff were excellent upgraded our room with a bath and coffee while waiting in reception. Beautiful hotel.

Unfortunately the bar and restaurant were closed, but then it was Easter weekend and there were lots of celebrations going on in the plaza, including live music, so plenty of other places to dine and enjoy a drink.

All the staff we encountered looked after us really well, and answered our questions competently. The room was delightful with a small balcony The shower very efficient and spacious. Excellent towels and good linen on the beds.

Car parking was expensive but when taken in an overall context it didn’t matter that much for a one night stay. And it was valet parking.

The hotel oozed 5* class every where. Staff were exceptionally nice.

In beautiful Pamplona nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees you find this gem of a hotel. On the main square in an antique building and thoroughly and opulently modernized on the inside. Right next to the street through which the famous bull run takes place. Restaurants, shops, cafes, monuments are all within steps from the hotel. Outstanding and courteous staff providing service and making guests feel welcome. The room was tastefully decorated. There were no obstacles to this walking impaired writer. We were provided with a chance to see the Three Kings Parade from a balcony overlooking the square. A thoughtful and much appreciated offer. For their kindness we thank Daniel, Mary, and their colleagues. We hope to return soon.

When I asked my husband if there was anything he didn’t like about LGHLP, he said “There was too much cheese at breakfast.”

La Perla was our first real contact with Spanish hospitality; this overthrew all preconceptions of standoffishness. Front desk staff could not do enough for us! The public areas of the hotel are beautifully kept and feature the work of local artisans for sale, images of the rich and famous who patronised the hotel, and historic bullfighting artefacts. Our room was well-appointed with view to a back street which is part of the Encierro. Breakfast was generous, with cold and hot components. The breakfast room was well-served by a few staff members at this slow time of year. At a room rate which was discounted by 40%, we couldn’t look past this grand old hotel on Pamplona’s main square.

Getting to the hotel via sat nav is very confusing , you have to drive into pedestrian square, park outside the hotel and then the hotel kindly goes and parks your car

Location first class. Breakfast was super and the manager of breakfast a real asset. All staff were great and helpful. We enjoyed all of the extras supplied in the room , vanity sets etc. Wonderful touch.

Unfortunately the Hotel restaurant was not open for dinner when we visited but the upside was that we got to enjoy more of the street scene. Great.

Located in the square at Pamplona an interesting location to to actually get to. The Hotel kindly emailed a photo giving directions through the pedestrianised square which was a most interesting route in. Our car was whisked away by the hotel valet to secure underground parking. A truly wonderful building in an outstanding location. Shops and restaurants within easy walking distances.
