Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainUnfortunately, WiFi ist still an issue. They have tried to improve it: it works very good when the room door is open, but as soon as you close it, there is still no connexion. Near the reception, it is good.
We are regular guests there and like the tranquillity of the place, the pine wood and sea nearby. The staff member was very friendly and helpful. Our dog was welcome as well, without extra fee.

Austria...it was a very weak performance all in all. It lasted mere minutes and went in a boring, yet loud fashion. I would have offered the artists hints and ideas for improvement, however since they seemed to be beginners I decided against it. Other than that, a very nice place to stay.
Well, the walls were very thin. So we got first row seats to a 2 am sexshow powered by our our neighbours for free. Quite the bargain, and my girlfriend wasn't even jeallous, because...

SpainThe WiFi is still not working well. We had no connection in our room. It was possible to connect outside of your room and next to the reception. I think this could be fixed, there are also houses in this area, there must be a solution... There is some parking space at the hotel, but it is not free. Otherwise, it is possible to let your car on the street if you are lucky (little space). The window of our room did not close!
We liked the location (next to a wood, 5 minutes to the beach), reason why we were there for the 3th time. The area is quiet and ideal for people who look for tranquillity and hikes in the nature. There are no shops there and very few restaurants, so the place is not suitable for people who want night life and shopping. With the car, shops in the centre can be reached in 10 minutes though. Pets are allowed without charge. The badroom was clean. The beds were comfortable. The furniture was a bit old, but it was still okay.

SpainWe were there once in 2017 and the WiFi was already slow or did not work at all at that time, depending the area. The situation is still not fixed: in our room, we had no connexion at all, on the floor outside our room, sometimes. But we had to sit next to the reception in order to check our mail and surf in normal conditions... The furniture is a bit old (bathroom, cupboards). It is not so important, as everything is clean, but it would be nicer. It was sometimes difficult to open our door, especially in the night, never in the afternoon (metal was retracting or something like that).
We liked the tranquillity of the area (the hostal is next to a pine forest) and the proximity of the beach (5 min. through the forest). The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and clean. The beds werde comfortable. The little bar almost in front of the hotel (Casa Pepa) is a nice place. Of course it is a bar, not a restaurants, so do not expect standards like in some in town restaurants. But it was clean, the people were friendly, and quiet. Prices are okay. I can definitely recommend it! This place is great for nature lovers who like tranquillity, especially if they have a dog (dogs are free of charge). If you want night entertainment, it is not the right place.

FinlandThe drive-way to the parking had a 90-degree angle and it was a little tricky to get in and out of the parking lot with a bigger car. Hostel pool was nice but the water was a little cold.
Hostal Alhaja Playa was located along my route and had a good price, since it was off-season. Hostel was close to the beach and there was just a forest park between the beach and the hostel. There was even a beach bar. Hostel pool was nice but the water was a little cold.

United KingdomThe bath had no plug, nor did the sink, but I had one of my own, so was able to take a bath, which is why I have rated this place as good for comfort. The bar did not live up to my expectations. I had proposed meeting my sister in the bar, but fortunately we met in the town instead. The bar was pretty poor. The hotel is very difficult to find, you need internet access to locate it.
There was a bath. You can see the sea, through the pine trees the other side of the wall, (a wall that makes this hotel very difficult to find).

United KingdomIt's a budget deal and really good value for money. Furniture's a little old school and at check in you don't get info so we ended going back to talk to the staff about Internet access, breakfast etc. Glad we did as they were all very nice, especially the woman.
The surrounding area is really beautiful. A really short walk through pine trees and you're at the beach! The room has most things you need including a fridge, good enough shower and a lovely outside terrace. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was basic but good.
