But the bathrooms! Showers way too small, toilet tooo close to the wall and shower door.

Great location, easy to get everywhere you need to find in Bilboa; train, subway, bus stations! We've stayed here many times over the years.

The bed was a little hard. The pillow was flat. The room walls are very thin and I could hear the conversation of the people in the room to the right of mine. I slept with ear plugs every night. The shower is very narrow and has no shelf to put shampoo/ body wash. It was impossible to bend and pick up body wash that had to sit on the shower floor so I needed to hold it while I showered. First world problem :)

The location can't be beat. The city is alive right out the door. Quick walk to Starbucks, Abando bus and train stations. As a woman, I felt safe walking around the city at night alone. Great options for pizza, beer, pintxos right downstairs. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Unique building with a lot of character. The room is a good size. Good closet and table to stay organized. Fresh air from the window that opened wide. Very, very clean -- both the room and hallways. Cleaning staff daily included. Well maintained.

The room was at the beginning a little bit cold, but we could not really set on the temperature on the heating/cooling device. Glass desks everywhere, which is nice, but not practical. I was always afraid that it can break. Only one seat in the room. An extra shelf could help to settle toothpaste, creams etc. The cleaning lady repositioned our stuff in the bathroom, so we could rearrange everything after cleaning.

Excellent location, few minutes walk to the riverside. A very quiet room. Comfortable bed with excellent sleep quality. Fast Wifi connection. Access by elevator. Very good price value ratio. There is nice bar next to entrance, where you can eat breakfast for less then 5 Euros. There were not hard party people in the hotel. We liked that the hotel uses the green changing policy with towel using. Safe, if you are two peoples, you will get also 2 keys, with that you get some independence as well.

The size of rooms - ample space for relaxing, sleeping, exercising and working. I stayed in a typical well renowned 4 star hotel close to this pension however I would have preferred being in this pension the whole time

Very central located near the metro ,location is just perfect! Check in was on time,room was big enough as the bathroom. WiFi was fast , tv with many channels . We had a room in the back of the building so it was very quiet.A plus that they let us leave our luggages till 20.30 because we had a late flight.

Bathroom was cramped, not good for tall or wide people. Tricky to sit on toilet and the shower was too narrow to bend over.

Friendly, helpful host on check in. Excellent location in a pleasant side street with a nice cafe for breakfast opposite. Close to metro and 2 minutes from the river and 20 minutes to the Guggenheim via the river walk. Large clean room and spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed and good wi - fi. Thank you.

Excellent location (the only bus I took was from/to the airport), supportive staff, comfortable and clean room. They do not provide breakfast but just next door there is a nice cafe. A bit pricey, but this is normal in Bilbao (just for accomodations)

The shower cubicle is little small with a good step up to get into it. We always sleep with the window open, the bars outside were a little noisy at the start of the night.

Nice big room with a big bathroom and balcony. The hotel was in walking distance to the Guggenheim (not really my cup of tea, but you have to go), just over the river bridge is the old town with a lovely square full of restaurants where we had some good meals. The hotel is close to the railway station. A good ice cream shop just before you go over the bridge.

No air con (but it was an unusual heatwave, and aircon isn’t needed often in Bilbao) and would have been nice to have proper shower gel dispensers not just sachets.
