It was cold in the room and cold water in the evening. In the neighbor room somebody smoke maybe kannabis (sweet smell) and it was forbidden all kind of smoking in the rooms. The smell come to our room through the toilet ventilation. We told about that to reception and he went to neighbor room and gave a warning to the guest of neighbor room.

The room is not soundproof and well insulated so it is a bit cold and noisy at times but given the price paid we were happy.

The location is perfect, the property sits in the central of Barcelona, allowing easy access to most landmarks and the old town. We felt safe walking around at night time and totally enjoyed the neighbourhood around the hotel.

I would probably be happy to go back if it was not for the noise and cold. The insulation of the window was close to non-existent. The first night we woke up freezing. Thankfully the AC was working, and that solved this issue for the second night. BUT THE NOISE. Our window looked at the street. And troughout the night we got to enjoy every vehicle going past on the busy road. It was like sleeping in a bus stop. We were hardly able to sleep. Garbage trucks at 00:30 and 04:30, buses every 15 minutes. Carhorns late and early, but even just the cars going past were awfully loud.

The place was rather clean, with a spacious room, late night reception, and nice beds. Alltogether it was better than what I expected. They even had a saloon, a shared microwave and a shared kettle. The included AC was working well, which is an important thing as it was much needed.

It was quite cold first night, so we asked for additional blankets, they also were not very warm. But receptionist was trying to satisfy us. Internet was bad.

The hostel is situated very convenient to the center of Barcelona, we were walking everywhere! The room was big, all additional things, that we needed, were given us by nice Ukrainian girl at the reception.

The Place was Amazing, and our room was really nice and comfortable, the shared bathroom was immaculate and the staff at the reception was really kind with us and made a real effort to help us even if we were really early for the check in. It's in a really good position and with a twenty Min. Walk you're at the Sagrada famiglia, passing near Casa Batló and Casa Milà A lot of nice places to eat near-by!

Entering the hotel corridor marked one of the most disheartening moments I've encountered with an establishment. The pervasive smell of hash permeated the air, unmistakably originating from one of the rooms. The entire corridor, saturated with the scent, had allowed the unpleasant odor to infiltrate our assigned room. Concerned about the potential impact on our child's asthma/allergies, I promptly informed the reception. Much to my dismay, my apprehension was met with outright denial as the staff insisted there was no odor. Despite the evident fragrance, the establishment obstinately maintained that there was no issue. Attempting to address the situation, Booking.com intervened and requested us to await their communication with the administration. Unfortunately, the establishment rejected any assistance and persistently denied the smell. While language barriers may have played a role, the staff member's rudeness only exacerbated the situation. Claiming a lack of available rooms, they adamantly refused to change our accommodation. Instead of expressing empathy, they emphasized the non-refundable nature of our booking, leaving us with no recourse. Frustrated and genuinely concerned for our child's well-being, we had no choice but to vacate the premises and secure another room elsewhere. In our subsequent experiences, we discovered that Booking.com often faces limitations in providing help. The resolution ultimately rests with the hotel/hostel, typically extending no assistance beyond a perfunctory "sorry for the inconvenience." It's immensely disappointing to find yourself compelled to spend an additional sum of over $100 for a night when the responsibility clearly lies with the establishment and not the guest.

I had a terrible experience. I could hear every sound coming from neighboring rooms, even from the room next door. The receptionists watched videos on full volume all night long, and there were drunk guests who vomited every 10 minutes. The AC in the room also made a lot of noise, adding to the discomfort. It was an extremely unpleasant stay.

The only good thing was the the location of this hostel.
