Walls are thin but it was quiet during our stay so not really an issue for us.

Lady on reception was friendly and helpful when we arrived. Hostal is in a great location-walking distance to some of Gaudi's buildings and a few minutes to the nearest metro. There are cafes and bars in the area too.

Like many places in Spain, the walls are thin. Also, while everything was perfectly acceptable, the rooms are fairly small for the price.

The hotel is located right in the centre of Barcelona very near the Hospital Clinic metro station. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly.

The bed we had was very short, I'm just 5.8 and my legs were sticking out. The rooms were also very small

All is good until the day before we leave I came from outside and found that baby bed was staken from its place without my permission and was told that they thought it will be better for me to free up some space which i found it critical for my privacy

The room was smaller than expected from what we saw on the photos. Especially the shower cabin is extremely tiny and uncomfortable. The street outside was not loud, but somehow we could hear everything from the window, not a big problem, but something to consider.

The location is good, close to all kinds of public transport , cafès and restaurants. The staff was friendly and polite and the room was cleaned every day of our stay.

Neighbours above (apartments) were a bit loud, because they had a party, but nothing that can't be fixed with oropax.

Very good service, super friendly and helpful! The staff provided me with some cutlery and plates to make my own breakfast and also I was able to check out a bit later, which was very helpful for me. The location is great, walking distance to the center and a lot of restaurants, bars, supermarkets around there. The room was even a bit bigger than expected! And don't be frightened by the name of the metro "hospital clinic", there was no noise from any hospitals at all.

Bathroom was quite small especially the shower however it had everything you could possibly need.

The room was clean it had small fridge with water which was nice after arriver. Room was cleaned daily. Towels were provided. The reception is open 24/7.

They charged me 20 euros more than Booking showed me they would charge. The guy at the reception said it was due to some kind of Barcelona tax, he couldn't explain it well because he can't speak English. I wish this tax was shown in the price on Booking instead of when I already booked and came to check in.

The shower tray was far too small for me! And I’m only 15st and 5’8”, 740ml square and the shower valve hate another 120mm ish into that! Impossible for me to shower apart from standing and in the door way and being careful, it is what it is

I had a bit different expectations from the 'kitchen'. In general, you can't really cook anything there. There was just a microwave and a fridge.

Great location. It wasn't very touristic but with great local venues around. It was quiet and lovely at night. The room was well-cleaned every day. Also, good transport links to every part of the city. But in general, it was a walkable distance to anywhere.

There is a window, but when I opened the blinders I could see some sort of patio? Not sure what it was because I immediately closed it, maybe its not a big deal, I ended up not asking the staff, but definately didnt seem like a window that showed the street, at least in the room that I was in. I just didnt feel comfortable leaving the blinders open, so I felt the room was pretty dark. The shower was very small. Im an average sized woman (both in height and weight) and got in there ok, but definately think someone who is bigger can have trouble getting in there and closing the doors, its very small. There was a small step to get in the bathroom, just so people know. Also you do get a set of keys, which personally I was ok with, but some people might prefer a card since its easier to carry, but since you need multiple keys to get in, it seems like a more practical way to do it.

Very close to the subway, about 5min walking. The staff was very nice and helpful! Always smilling and helped me when I needed. It was pretty quiet, you can hear people when theyre in the corridor, but I was surprised at how quiet they were. Theres a common room with a microwave, free tea bags, a coffee machine (that you have to pay for, but it was a cheap price) and sofas. In the room there was a small kettle, a glass cup and a mini fridge that had a bottle of water and a juice box inside (they all came in very handy for my trip, Im very thankful). Everything was clean and tidy during my staying. Theres also a hair dryer in the bathroom, body wash, shampoo and towels. The toilet had a desinfected sign when I got there. In the room theres a closet with extra sheets, blankets and a safe, which you have the key to. The Hostal is inside a building with other apartments, but they give you the keys for everything. The location is nice, seems like a very chill place with good food nearby (highly recommend to check it out, theres some really cool places nearby) and since its a quick walk until the subway, you can easily get anywhere. Theres air conditioner and a ceilling fan aswell. The bed felt very comfortable to me. Theres also a small desk, a tv and an outlet near the bed. The wifi connection is good and the decoration is really cute! This was very good for a quick stay, away from the crowded centre of the city.

The shower was tiny, so it was hard to shower! There's really not much space in the room, so if you were travelling as a couple, there would not be enough room for lots of luggage.

It was a comfy room, with everything I needed. the aircon worked well and it was nice to have access to a kitchen where you could buy a coffee for just 50 cents or help yourself to free tea. I love the location, the neighbourhood is leafy, spacious and has so many options for food and drink.

Although room was small, it was enough for me and my companion for a month, but for many it might be hard to stay for a longer period of time, so I recommend it rather for short term stays

Rooms are very clean and staff is extremely friendly. Going around the city was very easy from this location
