Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only negative thing we found was that the buildings/windows are probably quite old, so you can hear any noise from the street when you are in the room. The street is very quiet, but still, there are a few cars or people passing by sometimes. Earplugs are definelty a must! With those, we slept wonderfully, and the noise was no problem at all.
Great location, super close to city centre but in a quiet street so away from all the noise from bars and restaurants. Our room was clean and cosy, a bit small but good enough for one night. Also the lady at the reception was super nice, she gave us a lot of information about the main spots to visit and a few suggestions of restaurants in the city. The room was very cheap as well, great value for money.

Beds this time ,not very comfortable. May I suggest they get rid of the bolster style pillows . One long pillow for two people just not comfortable.

Area was a little loud at night sometimes - close to lively areas so can't be helped, didn't affect us too much but we did hear it occasionally at night. There was a bit of mould in the bathroom.

Beautiful location right in the centre! The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and gave good tips. The room was bigger than i expected and even though you have a balcony on a busy street you barely hear any noise. Highly recommended!

No tea & coffee in room, but available in reception, just be careful carrying up stairs or in lift.

Shower wall mount was broken, so had to use it by hand. My phone does not work here, and I only have wifi when able to log in. Contact was by whatsapp- which requires wifi.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Use of kettle was very handy, also teas I was able to leave my big suitcase there on the last day after check-out for a few hours, which was a relief Great value for money- single room at single price

A bit cold, no heating but with air con, even though lots of posters around saying use blanket and not Aircon with heating. Shower gel left on ground as no shelf.
Good location, very comfy bed. Nice shower. Nice staff . I was allowed to leave bags on last day with no extra cost. Common fridge and kettle to make tea. Clean.

We stayed during winter season so the room was cold. We needed to heat that up by the AC that took a while
Excellently located guesthouse in the heart of Granada, just couple of steps from the old town. The staff is very helpful making your stay nice. Room was rather basic with small bathroom, but it was more than OK for us. Veronica Centro is very easy to be reached from the main bus station (10 min with local bus No. 33)

The view of the dental office was not ideal but the space was fine.
Room had everything I needed and great location. Staff shared excellent information and let me keep my stuff later in afternoon. The hotel has nice colours and a nice breakfast nook.
