1. Mattress and pillow were too soft but it’s a matter of taste 2. I was in mixed room. Would be good if hostel could provide option of only female/only guys rooms. 3. Maybe would be good to hang a reminder to respect silence in the room when somebody is sleeping. It’s fine to remind people about it - I saw in hostels. 4. Window looked on the backyard with pipes so it smelled canalisation a bit, but it’s just a luck with the room.

1. Room is bigger than usually in hostels. You can breathe. 2. Comfortable bed. Ceilings are high - it’s comfy on the upper bed 3. Location is just super 4. Beautiful terrace and common areas

Some of the staff were very nice, kind, and willing to help, but some of them seemed a bit overworked and burned out. I understand it's busy and thriving business, understandably... but when the check-in/ reception staff is giving out information to customers before me but not to me... is not very nice.

Our room was extremely hot even though it was cold outside, the shower leaked and the staff didn't give us much information about the facilities. It was also very loud throughout the night with other guests making alot of noise in the hallways.

The location was great and the room was large and the entire hotel is well decorated.

Whilst the room was great, booking a mountain view meant you also got a big apartment block right in front of the balcony with the mountains to the sides so you have to go right onto the balcony to see. It is a bit noisy on the streets with traffic early morning. And the curtains do not keep enough light / fit to the window properly so light leaks out the sides.

Great location, friendly staff, tidy and simple but modern looking rooms with a nice bathroom and spa bath. For the price, I would expect a little more in the rooms ie. Tea/coffee making or something that makes the rooms easier to stay in. That said, the use of the hostel shared kitchen on the 1st floor doesn't feel like its just for a hostel and very good to make your own dinners, breakfasts etc.

The room was a bit small with twin beds pushed together rather than a double with a window that looked out onto a dark, poky back passage in the middle of the building.

We liked everything about Casa Gracia except next time we would like a slightly bigger room that looked out on something better than poky back passage.

Having an old elevator was a nice touch to the facility, but in our two days staying it was out of service for a day. There was another elevator, so not at all a big deal.

Nice facility, it was clearly students oriented but although there were a lot of young people in the room the stay was comfortable and not too noisy. How could we complain about noice when being in Barcelona? Would be like complaining about mosquitoes in a swamp :)

Would have been nice to have a TV in the room. The only window in the room opened to a small yard where you could smell food from a nearby kitchen, so you couldn't really have it open at night. The room had A/C though, but it felt unnecessary to have to turn it on in the middle of February.

Very cute hotel and nice clean room. Very well located, next to shops, restaurants, supermarkets, cafés, etc. Also close to a metro station. Friendly staff.

The room was quite hot and we had to constantly air it out since it was in mid february, in the summer you would depend on constant AC, every morning there was this constant clatter of plates and cutlery, which was annoying.

The room and bathroom were very clean, the location was very convenient and the staff extremely helpful and friendly.

Mattress, is like a pattern with hostels, so much money goes in, but they still have the ones from 1900s, a hole in the middle, should invest in quality of sleep

the location and the interior design of the room is insane, I was in a share room of four persons but some how everyone had their own space.

The only thing is the house rules could be a bit more 'social' requesting guests to take into consideration that they booked a shared room and don't talk loud, put on all the lights in the room after midnight, taking showers and dryblowing hair after midnight.etc. Also I would put a curtain at each bed so people can 'close' themselves off for a little bit more privacy when sleeping. I felt this was a great miss at this place. I was in the view of everybody when they opened the door. Other hostals have a curtain or some other separation so there is more privacy.

Sound isolation was bad - I was woken up at 4 am because someone was talking in some other room and one could hear it via the courtyard even with closed windows. Also was woken up early in the morning beause someone was talking in the corridor.

Was very pleasantly surprised they put me in a single room (had booked a 4 person dorm), what a luxury :) It was a pretty room with a nice bathroom and shower, shampoo provided, well-functioning wifi and a comfortable bed.
