The room had not been cleaned. There was hair all over the bed and in the bathroom there was a razor blade cap abandoned in the shower, I imagine the last guest took a shower, shaved and the bathroom hasn't been cleaned since. The bathroom floor also had a lot of dirt stains and even after it was cleaned after we complained, the stains remained there.

The staff are really polite and they tend to do requests promptly.

Quite a basic room for €130 and way over priced. I had friends who booked the same night for 2 people considerably cheaper.

Everything was perfect to me.

As it was very hot in Madrid, I would have appreciated a small fridge to keep cold drinks. I was staying in a room at the back of the property across the patio. The room itself was ok but the wifi connection was weak and sometimes I couldn’t get it at all. The connection was fine in the main part of the hotel.

I found all the female staff friendly, polite and helpful. It was handy for my purpose in Madrid. A nice simple old-style hotel. The AC worked well so I had a good night’s sleep.

The buffet breakfast which was an added cost was very basic (but adequate), not much more choice than the lower cost continental breakfast. the basin drain in my bathroom appeared to br blocked.

Bathroom size was quite small in our particular room, but very much useable.

Location was good, not far from the metro and easy access to Chamartín Railway Station. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Can't complain at all. Was good value for money. Overall a pleasant stay.

The room we received was not like the rooms that were advertised online - no large bathroom or bath etc. Room was generally smaller than advertised also, however this was not any significant issue. The lighting was great, however the bedside lights sometimes flickered, but this was also not a significant issue. The bed was very comfy but the pillows were a little flat, but this is only personal preference.

The room was a decent size and comfortable, bed was great size and comfortable. Room was completely clean on arrival. Room cleaning service was wonderful as well. Decent wardrobe space. Hotel is 5 mins away from a metro station which is incredibly helpful, cheap and punctual travel, which will get you around Madrid easily. The staff were so lovely and helpful, helped us with any issues we had, which were next to none. We enjoyed the vending machines of food and snacks, and toiletries also.

The Check-In process was extremely slow and strangely troublesome requiring me and my partner 2 forms of ID each, and even after this we waited a while for our room cards. On the second night we returned and my card no longer worked. Had to get a new one at the desk which was relatively easy and straightforward but not ideal. The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly due to bad handiwork, strange lip on the edge of the door and doorway frame. The room only had 1 power socket one one side of the large bed which wasn’t very couple friendly for their own devices The hairdryer wasn’t very powerful, although I realise this is pretty standard across hotels in Europe!

The property had a nice sized bed and the sheets were very nice. The room had very good air conditioning and heating controls allowing for some good comfort. The location was great with metro access only a 4 minute walk from the entrance of the Hotel! Using the shower was nice as the water was hot instantly and the pressure was very good. The bathroom was quite hygienic and minimal. A hairdryer was also included in the bathroom which was a nice amenity to have.
