Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I requested a ground floor room so thank you for that. Unfortunately room number 1 was quite noisy. There was noise coming from a generator or boiler every hour which woke me up several times during the night 😒. I would stay again but not in that particular room.
The location was brilliant. Apartment was clean & comfortable.

Fabulous position in centre of the old town (Pueblo). Spacious. Delightful cleaning / managing staff. It is very traditional. Quite basic, but perfectly adequate, great value, comfortable & clean. I have stayed several times and enjoyed every one.

Would have expected a safe , not happy carrying cash and passports everywhere. Did not enjoy the breakfast situation, having to go elsewhere to eat food we wouldn't have ordinarily chosen. Not something we would choose again.
The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the square. Our room had efficient aircon which was absolutely necessary.

There was nothing we didn't like. Can only make the suggestion of a non-slip mat for the shower tray. We very nearly had an accident but fortunately avoided it.
The welcome we received, the kindness of our host. Location was excellent, would only be improved if it had parking but sadly this is impossible.

Would have liked to be on the ground or first floor not the 2nd but we did not asked to be moved. When we come again we will asked for a lower floor

Very dark no outlook..quite confinned...adjoining room was locked but didnt stop on 2 occasions I had someone trying to get into the apartment..quite scary at 2am!
Plus was the staff were so attentative..nothing was too much..I had a gtound flloor 2 bed appt..kitchen was amazing and well stocked..although didnt know criterior what was mine to use? In the end I replaced everthing I used. Great value for money.

It was noisy at night, our first room hadn't been cleaned so was given another room. The fan in bathroom was really noisy. Very basic accommodation but that didn't bother me.
Location was great, just round the corner from where my grandparents live.

We previously visited this property in 2019 and what a change since then. No breakfast on premises, told to go to a local cafe, when we went there they refused to give us breakfast because we didn’t have a ticket. To this day we still haven’t found out who supplies the ticket as there are no staff on premises and are emails we’re ignored. Sunday our booking said we were to have breakfast at a neighbouring hotel, when we got there we were told they were very sorry for us but our information was wrong and we weren’t the only people they had turned away. Booking.com customer service got in touch with the property and passed on to us that we would be refunded our breakfast which 2 weeks later has not happened. The property since have emailed asking us to give them a review on Tripadvisor! They seem oblivious to the fact they took money for breakfast that wasn’t available! Also in 5 days our room was only serviced once

This is a super lovely place to stay . Right in the middle of everything. Shops, bars , restaurants, taxis & public transport. Lovely rooms , excellent staff, clean & kettle in your room
