We were supposed to have two single beds in the room, we got a room with one double bed.

The hotel's location is perfect. On the main street of Barcelona, near the metro station, near the airport bus stop. Tasty, classic breakfasts. The rooms are modest but clean.

Unfortunately the bed wasn't that great... the pillows and mattress were a little uncomfortable.

Great location, even if the hotel is placed in a very busy area, there is a good soundproofing when the windows are closed. The staff was kind and helpful.

Bathroom can always be a bit larger (or the shower area a bit more well designed), maybe put a small table or sth on the balcony? or Just a chair, other than that always 8/10

As usual, stayed there before, knew what I was going into, so no suprises there, quick check in, great staff, no problems anywhere, wifi working perfectly, closest to the center you can find, and you can't hear anything from Rambla even at busy nights cause windows work really well. Overall, recommendation

The shower was mediocre. There was goog hot water, but clambering in and out of the bath to use the shower was difficult for my wife because there is no handrail. I'm tall, and the shower fitting made it hard to get an all over drench. The desk staff varied. The person on duty in the mornings was grumpy but the others were very helpful.

Prime location. Well maintained and secure. Clean room, and although we looked out on La Rambla the excellent sound insulation meant we weren't disturbed. Only had breakfast one morning but it was very good value with an excellent choice of fresh items. Public areas clean and comfortable.

Downside was noise from the street and other rooms. Perhaps an inside or non-facing the street room would have been better. No ice available in the building. No coffee in the room. Room thermostat on a timer. Had to reset during the night.

Location was awesome. Loved having the little balcony overlooking the street. Front desk staff extremely helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and a good price. Room small but very clean. Having a safe was a plus. Laptop would not fit in the safe but the front desk was very glad to keep it for me when I was not in my room. Good security entering building and for waiting for a taxi.

Just that experience with breakfast

breakfast - I was with my two granddaughters 15 and 18. I attempted to have breakfast with them and one of the girls just wanted a cup of coffee, The attendant said she had to buy the coffee at the machine outside the restaurant and wait outside while me and my other granddaughter had breakfast.... I obviously was offended and went for breakfast somewhere else.

There was some cold wind in the room coming from outside, but as it was Spring season it didn't bother that much.

Shower in room 119 is broken and is very dangerous it keeps getting put up but needs maintenance. Unfortunately I found this out the hard way and nearly ended up burning myself with water going everywhere. Reception was too busy with Spanish people to even ask how my stay was when checking out felt very rude to be honest!

I have stayed at this hotel previously with my Mum. My return visit was very good, room was at the back of the hotel so very quiet. Air con was very good . Breakfast lots of options .Room was very big .

I like everything in the hotel I have no complaints.

The location is handy, everything is already there. Restaurants, pharmacy, supermarkets, train station just around the corner. And I’m loving the night life, a city that never sleeps. Restaurants remain open till late at night. This hotel is highly recommended. Thank you.

Our room had an intensely strong glue smell. Front desk said they would look into it, but never did, or at least never got back with us about it. We had to air the room out by leaving doors and windows open.
