How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We liked everything
From the start to finish very welcoming staff the cleaning lady was amazing super nice friendly the room was spotless the pool area was so clean very happy we'll return again thank you

Property was in a great location really close to beach and there was bus into Puerto del carmen close by. Beaches near were lovely. The pool was amazing and lots of sun beds. The apartments were spacious and clean

No complaints at all
We booked one bedroom apt and were upgraded to a two bedrooms. Impressed by the very well maintained and inspired garden. It looked like an open air art gallery with statues and paintings clearly bearing the Cesar Manrique influence. Perfect location, ocean view, restaurants and shopping nearby though very peaceful.

There was nothing that we did not like
Professionalism of all the staff. All staff very freindly and helpful. Resort was very clean and maintained well. The art which surrounds the whole resort is interesting and adds a nice addition to look and find when walking around.

It was a bit of a walk to the apartment, especially for my husband. I had booked an adapted apartment. But the staff organised the hire and delivery of an electric wheel chair very quickly, which solved that problem.
The efficiency of the Reception and how pleasant and friendly all the staff were. The Complex is really beautifully kept, lovely art and cactuses. And is very quiet and peaceful.

location: as we had family staying in town getting a Taxi was difficult with long wait times(1 hour ) and on couple of evenings we had to give up and change our plans
as i am in a wheelchair i found the facilities perfect. lots of space. a couple of things did not meet my needs and the staff were very quick to address and sort .

There is no bar or food on site. You can buy breakfast on site in morning only.
Location was very quiet, peaceful at night which suited children and elderly person I travelled with.

Request number 46 , secluded , peaceful and a fantastic space. Two sunbeds on your private patio , enough space to sleep 4 if needed , kitchen , living room , drying area within the property , superb bathroom with amazing shower , 1 bedroom with 2 single beds , I travelled alone so no issue. Perfect if you have kids , basically a ground floor bungalow (UK) , so no fear about balconies. Also a pool , crazy golf , bike hire within a few minutes for all the family and a designated bike path throughout this whole area. I walked about 10 minutes per day to the beach front from here , a local supermarket , pubs , restaurants to hand if you look , enjoy , I’m going back next January while the UK freezes again 😎😎😎

The patio area is not private, you share with your neighbour.
The staff are lovely and helpful. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The location is perfect.

Loved this hotel close to airport, close to matagorda shopping centre which has loads of variety of restaurants . A lot more chilled than puerto del carmen which suited us with a 4 month old son . Hotel is ideal each apartment has your own private area with sun loungers. Really relaxing holiday loved it.

I don't have any negatives
Pool was clean and very well kept around the pool, gardener quietly working away. I enjoyed the library and artwork. The changing facilities downstairs were good and spacious. We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment on arrival which was lovely with a view over the pool. Receptionist was so pleasant. The pitch and putt was available but we didn't do it. Location was excellent, near to beach and restaurants- 5 mins walk. Lovely walkway into Puerto del Carmen or go the opposite way to see the planes landing at the airport. Would be very happy to stay here again.

There were no bins around pool area for papers, etc
Not too much steps in the complex . Apartment was kept very clean and laundry changed frequently
