Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Place was extremely crowded. Big lines simply to serve coffee. I basically gave up on having breakfast there afterwards

The temperature of the room could not be changed. We were freezing.
Great hotel with friendly and accommodating staff near public transportation, plus plentiful buffet breakfast.

Despite the friendly staff, one woman was rude, but I only ran into her once. Also, I did not like that even regular water for tea and coffee in the room is not free (although this is quite a free option), so you will either have to look for a store nearby or just buy it from the minibar. I didn't find any grocery stores nearby, but I didn't try to look, it's better to ask at the hotel.
The breakfast was standard, as in all hotels of this level. Also, there was a small selection of hot dishes. Friendly staff, always trying to help. The room was clean. The area is quiet, within walking distance of the bus to the center, which runs frequently.

My stay was too short to enjoy it the most!
The location was great, the bus stop just round the corner so we could get to the city center quite quickly. Breakfast amazing with lots of traditional food! Staff extremely nice and helpful - the window frame broke down in our room and they kindly moved us to a room next to ours.

Nothing really.
We liked everything about the hotel. Room was cleaned every day. Beds were made when we arrived. Breakfast at hotel was amazing. Will definitely book again.

Location not too great. Breakfast service was not great. Items missing were not refilled frequently. Restaurant Staff not friendly .

Room temperature at night was too high. In January air-conditioning is switched off, but direct sunlight (rooms on the south side) heated the room and walls. It is possible to open a small window opening and blow air from the conditioning system, but neither helped. Room temperature at night was almost sauna-line.

We did not like the cue waiting to be seated for breakfast.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The hotel is only 10 minutes walking distance to the next Metro station. It is also very close to the airport, but don't take a taxi. It is 30 € no matter how far from the Airport to Madrid town center. For instance an Uber is only 12,- €.

We were disappointed that the restaurant is only open from 8:00pm at night, we were already starving when we arrived.
The staff were friendly, breakfast were great and there is a bus stop nearby going to the city center.

Good weekend with my family) For only 10 euro for taxi you can get to the central part of the city! And also for 10 euro you can get to the airport! Very good location! Very nice and kind staff! Highly recommend breakfast!! Everything was perfect! Thank you)

The fire alarm went off for several minutes, after checking with the cleaning lady it was a drill. We were not informed about this beforehand. There was no app casting possible on the TV, only screen mirroring via Android, not via iPhone/Apple
Great room with a nice shower and rituals shampoo. Big TV and nice outside view as well.

The restaurant in Novotel have a quite expensive foods. The hotel has a bus station nearby. But it takes 40 minutes to get to main spots.
The room was clean. Breakfast was very satisfied.

Very minor things but some of the tiles had grout in the grooves and didn’t feel like it had a thorough clean, a couple of the surfaces were dusty. One of the staff members was a young lad who didn’t speak English and left us waiting for 45 minutes in the restaurant, maybe he didn’t feel comfortable around a language he didn’t speak but we still had a great meal when it came to us.
The quality for what you paid for was very good. Staff overall were very good and so were the bar tenders. Very easy check in and check out. Rooms had good air con and were comfortable. The variety at breakfast was very good and all freshly cooked.
