Great hotel that is in the old part of the city. Room felt like you were staying in a castle. Tapas bar next door and short walk to centre of the old town. Great breakfast.

The location, while so beautiful and unique, is a bit hard to get to by car on the narrow streets of the old town. We ended up parking about 1 km away from the hotel and walked to it with our luggage.

We loved the helpful and friendly staff, cool and unforgettably unique location, and AMAZING breakfast buffet spread.

There was nothing we did not like but they did not have much public space

The location was great, right by a busy square with lots going on with restaurants and bar. It was a little tricky finding the location by car but the receptionist was on the phone with us helping to navigate through the one way streets. It was a lovey hotel. The breakfast was wonderful as was the setting. The hotel was wonderful with the stone walls and detail.

Absolutely outstanding. It was the last stop on our honeymoon adventure. The hotel was enchanting and romantic. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We wanted to enjoy coffee in our room before breakfast. They set us up with a tray for 2. We sat enjoying the view from our sitting area. Hondarribia is a lesser known gem of a town.

We heard a couple of men in room next door come in very late and make a lot of noise. Not the hotel’s fault.

Location was great for us, the breakfast had good selection of fruit, cheese, eggs and breads. We loved the building and character of the place and beds were comfy and bathroom nice. They also let us check in early during a rainy day when we were already wet.

A wonderful old building but with modern amenities in the old town. Parking needs to be prebooked which we did fortunately because there are few spaces at the hotel or in the vicinity. A pleasant and comfortable room with a view. The receptionists were polite and had a sense of humour. In addition to the usual continental style breakfast a cooked breakfast was prepared on order not in bain maries to go cold or rubbery. Nice one! Many good restaurants were in easy walking distance.

Note as this is an old building there are no lifts, so one has to carry luggage up stairs.

What a wild few days in Hondarribia! We happen to stay when a festival was on for the whole time we were there. Lots of music, food, drink and dancing, we loved it! The room size was amazing , we had a private balcony overlooking the square. Easy walking distance to old town and marina, not far to beach either. But also short drive to country side and great Michelin Star restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when it came to arrival and parking our car on the first day of the festival. Room has good air-conditioning.

You have to know that you have to climb stairs to go to reception which is on first floor.There some rooms on the same floor but for many others you have again to Climb stairs Breakfast is on ground floor

We loved this hotel.

Lovely big comfy quiet room (201) in a former palace , with a view to France from the balcony. Friendly staff. Lots of local bars and restaurants. Bus at door, shops, laundry nearby.

The location in Hondarribia is excellent, right in the centre of town. We opted to pay for parking outside which at €8 was very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room ( the most basic) was pretty and very comfortable and clean, with steps up to a stone balcony with views over the river. It’s also next door to an excellent tapas bar which serves really delicious food.
