The room offered on the 4th floor

We have stayed here before and loved the view from the room (think we must have had a superior room previously). This time we were offered a room on the 4th floor which was tiny with a tiny balcony and a high wall and therefore no view unless you were standing up. Asked to be moved and thank goodness they had another room or our holiday would have been ruined.

Very nice view from our room. Room was clean and big enough. We did like the service and breakfast. It was easy to go down and up to the city by bus and taxi.

The walk down to the old town was very dangerous,slippery paving and very steep

We weren't too impressed with some of the food at the restaurant or the cafe. Starters good, but some mains (eg oxtail canneloni, crunchy lasagne, Gibralfaro sandwich) were lacking.

The fabulous view from all rooms which have a small balcony, perfect for sitting out and watching the world below; the spacious, spotless room, comfy beds, large shower room, the reception staff who were lovely and multi-lingual. Also liked the swimming pool (not heated) and area around, still with that view.

The dessert menu could have been better for our taste!

We were in room 310 with a lovely view, plus we could see the path to walk down to the city centro. We visited the Castello Gibralfaro, took the bus to town twice and had timed tickets for the very interesting Picasso Museum. We had dinner in the Paradore's restaurant the first night which we both enjoyed. The best part was breakfast on the balcony of the restuarant both mornings. Took wonderful photos from there.

In room coffee facilities could be more generous.

The location and the views are fantastic. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful. The restaurant is excellent and good value

Some hooks in the room and bathroom would be useful. Dinner whilst good felt almost like trying too hard for a ‘unique experience’, let the quality of the products speak.

We were on our honeymoon and when I asked for bottle of wine when checking in we were informed by the receptionist to order at the bar it was a little inconvenient as we had our cases surprised that this couldn't have been arranged and billed to our room.

The restaurant food was a little underwhelming.

We love the Parador, it's the third time we have stayed and will be staying again. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the views from the little balcony are amazing. The staff is always friendly, helpful and welcoming. This is a really special hotel and we highly recommend it. The location is so good that there are tours up to the viewing points. Spectacular!

Bathroom could do with refurbishing, separate shower for those struggling climbing in the bath, I managed but needed help from my partner. It would have been helpful to have had prior notice of this. There seemed to be different staff on reception and in the restaurant and not all staff wore name badges and did not always introduce themselves.

Cleanliness of all areas. efficiency of staff in all areas, location of hotel Breakfast exceptional and plenty to choose from evening menu. Appreciated that my birthday was remembered. Special mention of Elena on reception both on arrival and ensured our bill was ready the evening before our early departure the following day,

The hotel was beautiful, best views of Malaga. The restaurant was reasonably priced, excellent service, friendly staff, and our table looked out over Malaga city. The pool area and rooms very comfortable.

Absolutely stunning location overlooking the bay/port of Malaga. The views are spectacular. The staff are very helpful. The rooftop pool is a glorious feature. We chose to eat in Malaga Centro, but the tea/coffee facilities in the room were perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend 👌

The view from our balcony was lovely. But the noise from the traffic and the port for me was unbearable .

It was a warm day and they had not switched over to the AC yet. They did supply a fan but it was still a bit warm in the room. With the balcony door open the room cooled in the early morning hours. Fortunately the room was very quiet even with the balcony door open.

The location was perfect and it is a beautiful property. Very friendly staff.

There was nothing we did not like

The bedroom and bathroom were of a very good size, and looked down over the harbour. We particularly wanted a bath rather than a shower, and this was provided. The choice at breakfast was excellent. All of the staff were cheerful and helpful.

While we lived the location and view, it was a bit removed from Malaga. That said, we stay there again.

Fabulous view from location. Regular bus service into city or reasonable taxi fare. Quiet spacious room with balcony.
