Rooms just felt like temporary shacks. Toilets were outside in corridors without soap. Small corridors. Beds were creaking.

Bed was uncomfortable, decor was tired.

The location of the hotel is great, the staff were helpful and the room was cleaned every day.

The staff were excellent… very friendly. Our room was basic, but adequate for one night arrival. Good location.

There was a funky smell in the bathroom, bed was rock solid and not comfortable at all. No tv or wardrobe either, it easily got stuffy, no sign of heating or air con.

Good location, short walk away from all the main shops, bars and restaurants. Very close to the metro, there was a mistake on the dates that was my fault but the staff was very helpfull and sorted it out quickly at no extra cost.

It felt like a prison. Very outdated, the bathroom was very tight and old. Found female long hairs on the bed and the “washed” towels. The toilet is placed towards a very tight wall so expect to sit sidewards no matter what height (obviously each room’s bathroom might be designed differently) The price was extremely high for such a basic room.

There are Airbnbs better than this property. Only the location is acceptably good, the rest is old the property and room is old.

Wanted a balcony which was great however the noise in the alley prevented us getting sleep especially 2am-4am

- one evening, I waited around 30 minutes outside before the receptionist opened the door but I still had a good stay in this hostal. - A little noise from the street but nothing serious.

- I enjoyed my stay at Pensiòn 45 my room was clean and well located.

No sound insulated walls, Shared bathroom for large number of rooms, We took two showers in three days and we cleaned before we enter, noise at 1 AM

We literally saw a huge cockroach in our room- which is so scary !! Also because of the location, it is so noisy so if you are someone who can't sleep with noise pls don't stay here... You can clearly hear the sound of a couple next room having sex, people talking on the streets, etc.

To be honest the location is really good!! It's the heart of Barcelona well connected with public transport. The airport bus is just 5 mins away from the property which is very convenient. It is also surrounded by many good restaurants, supermarkets, and shops.

Shared bathroom, but sink in the room and towels provided. Free drinking water in the lobby. Good location in a quiet pedestrian side street of the Ramblas, Aldi supermarket at the end of the street.

We were put facing in a room that was near the reception, so the sound from visitors arriving, the reception tv and the bell could be heard quite regularly. We'd brought earplugs luckily!

I didn't like the grumpy man who met us at the reception desk when we were checking in. The lack of basic cutlery, mugs, etc. The lack of any label pointing that there's a hotel at all. It was almost impossible to find a sign of app. A4 sheet size where it says that it's Pension45

There were a few rough sleepers on the road outside, although they were not pushy or agressive. No crockery or cutlery was provided to use the microwave.

The location was excellent. We could reach virtually everywhere on foot, within an hour. The hotel is also about 500 meters from train, metro and buses. There was a shared microwave and fridge/freezer, and water, and tea and coffee making facilities. The room was cleaned daily. There was a 24 hour reception.
