A not so nice detail happened at the reception, after having a problem with a foreign card, the person in charge told us that if we didn't have money we had to leave. I don't think it was necessary to make such a classless and disrespectful comment with respect to guests who came to work at the film festival in the city and who stayed and paid for 10 days at the hotel.

The space is pleasant, comfortable and the room service is excellent.

the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest especially the shower around the door sometimes the room wasn’t cleaned and we didn’t have fresh towels

he room and especially the bathroom was dark. Hard to get natural light in the room because if you opened the window, the apts on the other side look right in. The bathroom didn't have any natural light.( should paint it white to make it lighter- it felt like a cave) The bathroom was clean except for the ceiling in the shower, there was mold growing all over the ceiling. Also, the sinks too forever to drain, so it would leave a ring of gunk as it drained slowly. ICK! Also, it was very loud! There were several nights where I didn't sleep at all because the noise on the street, one floor below was going off!

the room was big so felt like had some space. It was clean and the furniture was nice. the location in the old town was great, easy to the beach and a lot of destinations. The cleaning lady was very nice as was Aurora.

The internet is very bad, which made me struggle to work. If you are working for your room, be aware it is not an easy task. Also, there is no natural light in the room, although it was very comfortable

Room was dark and did not have sunlight, window was to internal small yard. We could see other people's laundry just in front of the window. Room had the smell of suagge. I guess something wrong with pipes.

Unfortunately the reviews are correct, you do hear the doors slamming from other rooms and entrance. But it’s not a huge problem. Better pillows would also be a huge advantage to this property and some insulation around the door frames to help the banging!

when we checked in, there were no toiletries or toilet paper. On 2 occasions, people walked into our room. Once at 1am when they were given the key to our room to check-in instead of their own room. The second time by a staff member who thought we had checked out that day when in fact our check out was 2 days later.

Check-in office was offsite just south of old town and only open 2pm-8pm. The room was one of about 10 rooms all within one complex on part of the 1st floor with a main entrance so you have to scan your keycard to open the main entrance and walk down the corridor to your room and scan your keycard to access your room. The double bed is actually 2 twin beds pushed together.

Location in old town was great. There was daily housekeeping and a safe in the room.

We must have missed the fine point about the check in was at a different location than the stay. But after some communication she came right over and checked us in at the site. The shower was extremely small.

It was very loud in the street during the night and the morning.

The house was perfectly located in the Center of the old town. The room was very clean and very comfortable.

Second time staying here within 15 month period. Whilst I think it’s a decent place and the location is exceptional, there weren’t any improvements on the property in this time which is why my score went from an 8 last year to a 4 this year. The pillows are still poor, towels are old, doors are noisy/loud, the beds are squeaky and the bathrooms have a drainage smell. I also found the check In experience poor from the staff member and also he’s dismissive attitude when I had an issue with the room so that wasn’t pleasant.

The opening and closing of doors in the hallway is sooo loud it’s impossible to sleep in. went for a rest later in the day hoping most ppl would be out but still wasn’t able to nap after either as the opening and closing of doors was way too loud. everything else was perfect besides that. The location was great and the staff very helpful and understanding.

The blinds were broken so could not be completely rolled-up, the toilet was leaking and constantly refilling with water which was disturbing at night, the walls are very thin so you can hear a lot of noise from the neighbours
