No power sockets available around the bed, but also in the room. Had to unplug a light to use the power socket. Room ver small. Not a problem for one night, but certainly not comfortable for more days.

Staff very friendly and engaged to assist always.

No reading lights in bedroom - with children needing to sleep (it was a family room) the main light had yo be off. We had to use phone torches to read.

There are some weird naylon bed sheets that make it uncomfortable, sweaty and hot to sleep in. We didn’t like that one bit. It’s a shame cos the bed is huge and of good material, just that the bed sheets ruin the experience. First night was kind of cold, so we turned up the heater only for it to blow cold air, I checked later with reception and they said it’s getting worked on, but no heater was available at this time. Not that we needed the heater urgently, but a prior warning would’ve been nice. The cleaning team woke us up one day at about 10am, insisting that they enter and clean the room, even though I explained a few times that they should come back later or just don’t do it cos we’re sleeping.. which they did, but it was a first time for me in a hotel to be woken up like that. The place was clean and decent, but there was dust on the high shelves and some lamps. Persons with allergies beware.

Location is top notch. We could explore the whole of barcelona by foot starting from this location. It’s secure, quiet, moderately clean, tidy and everything smells nice. Staff is professional, less talkative than italians but friendlier than the french. It’s a good combo I guess.

Very small room and bit expensive for that (note: all sort of nice looking hotels had comparable pricing). The bed was short, probably 1.80/1.90, not recommended for tall people.

Modern, nicely decorated room, quite comfortable bed. Central location in the city. The hotel has been renovated recently.

In general our room was kind of small and the bed wasn’t comfortable for tall people. We would prefer the towels to be changed without asking. Lastly it was expensive for what it was offering.

It was a really good location and the hotel was new , clean and well decorated. The people on the reception were really helpful and kind.

Breakfast could be better for 12 EUR. Very hard to drive with the car to the hotel. I would highly recommend to go by metro/train and rent a car when you leave Barcelona.

Very clean and nice hotel in the centre of the city. The reception lady, Julia, was very gentle and helped us with all our questions. The family room is small but contains all necessary facilities you need for a short trip to Barcelona. Do not expect a very calm night if you are used to sleep with open windows. On the other hand you reach all places by foot. The hotel has a corporation with a car park which is much cheaper compared to many other options in Barcelona.

The rooms / bathrooms are on the small side. However the location and staff make it all up.

The location is simply perfect. It’s close to everything, easy to find too. The staff was absolutely fantastic, Julia and the night staff were extremely helpful as I found myself having to contact a Doctor on my Arrival at 10pm. Their human qualities, willingness to help, to reassure me as i was on my own and really worried about my Issue, which led me to be sent to emergency at midnight, was simply outstanding. This turned a scary situation into one that was dealt in the best manner. All turned out to be dealt with, I am on the mend and will bring my husband there next year!

The staff had trouble understanding or expressing in other languages. This is a general issue in Spain.

We had booked TOC Hotel las Ramblas, but for some reason it was not possible to keep our reservation there and we were moved to TOC Hostel near Universitat. Even though it was not as close to Ramblas, it is a very central location with easy access to transports. "Universitat" metro with 2 lines in a short walk, and less that 10 minutes walk from Passeig di Gracia and Catalunya train stations.

The staff/receptionist is very humble and helped in guiding us to one of the best bars and nightlife clubs in Barcelona
