Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hot breakfast looked overcooked& was not appetizing to try. The trays of fresh fruit finished v quickly so it was tricky to get some. The coffee was not of very good quality.
The room was very comfortable & the balcony is a good size. The hot tub is a lovely way to relax.

Fabulous hotel, definitely going back. Friendly staff who go the extra mile, clean rooms, nice breakfast and a fabulous location near the beach and restaurants. Perfect

The Staff at reception (all female ) and cleaners were very very helpfull at all times

Nothing, apart from the fact that the bacon and eggs were cold. However, had we realised there was a microwave in the dining room, we could have zapped it for a few seconds!
The Hotel is part of the Amita Group, which I think has 3 hotels in Suances. We have stayed in the Amita, but thought we would try another hotel this time. We certainly weren't disappointed. Housed in a very modern building, we had a room on the ground floor. Maria, the receptionist, was so helpful and welcoming and we felt at home straight away. I have to say the breakfast was superb - the variety was overwhelming, with lots of home-made goodies, even the components of an English Breakfast! We would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Personally I like a thicker pillow but this was a small thing, and again I prefer a walk in shower with a larger shower head. The one in my room was small. I would have loved a balcony but for the price the room was fantastic honestly for value it's great! Also one night I could hear music being played from outside due to the door being open to the breakfast area.
The black out blinds! The bed was vet cosy. The breakfast was lovely, especially the Leche Fritas! And a great Location not far from the beach or town square.

El desayuno fue espectacular y la atención muy buena. Además, tienen opción sin gluten y la posibilidad de reservar algunas actividades externas del hotel desde recepción, como las del parque de Cabárceno.

All perfect
Maria on reception was very kind & helpful with a lovely personality. It set the tone for my 1 night stay. Beach & cafes were in easy walking distance and the breakfast was truly amazing.

We were desperate for a room we arrived in Santander after a long journey to find this was the only available room. We paid in our option well over the odds for what the room should cost. We paid the rate given because we were desperate. The hotel is not very easy to find at night and there are other hotels for a lower price of a higher standard in better locations.
We were late booking and arriving so reception had closed. Staff gave clear instructions as to how to get into the hotel and retrieve our key. Room was clean and breakfast was good.

Machine humming all night. Bedroom dark underground. I gather the cheaper! 99euros night are all like that half window. Receptionist didnt tell us code for night entry thankfully we thought about it before leaving. The dark underground room was a problem for me if it isn't for you or you can pay more than 100 a night for a room above ground this is your place.
Breakfast great. Could've had orange juice. Hotel modern looking. Quick walk from town. Bed comfortable. Staff friendly. Parking in July easy. Lovely coastal walk 5 mins away. Clean. Lots of free bathroom stuff gel toothpaste shower cap razor.
